Market Overview
The bear market pretty much caused a massacre in smaller altcoins. Everything is down a lot with The Fun Token being the best performer only going -16.5% over the last month. The coming months might be a complete death sentence for some of the smallest project and it's hard to imagine that any at all will thrive. Eventually at some point there will be a new altcoin season with a lot of speculative money coming in which pumps all the prices and most likely some of the projects will end up having actual adoption.
Overall during these bear markets, there is always less news as teams.
I've been keeping an eye on SX Network and sportx.bet which had been rebranded to sx.bet as the SX Network now became the 1st layer two blockchain on the Polygon Network.
They have big incentives for players to bet as they are getting SX Governance tokens, this is the main reason why betting volumes continue to go up
While SX Network and the betting volume they have continues to intrigue me, right now as a bookmaker or exchange it's just not something I would ever use since the odds and liquidity are just plain bad. I'm still tempted to get some just in case I am totally wrong on it.
Wagerr also didn't escape the price drop and recorded its lowest volume since a while after being in a general increase. The problem when the price gets so low is that it gets impossible for validator nodes to recover the cost. It does feel like the price is getting really cheap and I started buying a tiny bit more to add to my bag.
