Coinbase Adds Cartesi (CTSI), iExec (RLC), Mirror Protocol (MIR) and Tellor (TRB)

Coinbase now supports Cartesi (CTSI), iExec (RLC), Mirror Protocol (MIR), and Tellor (TRB) at Coinbase.com and in the Coinbase Android and iOS apps.

Cartesi (CTSI)
CTSI is a utility token that powers the Cartesi network, which aims to solve blockchain scalability and high fees using a technology called Optimistic Rollups.

CTSI can be used for staking and fees for processing data on the network. Notably, Cartesi enables smart contract creation using mainstream programming languages. This just feels like a clone of so many other projects. I think they are trying to solve real problems, but I don't know if the CTSI will be the team to come out on top.

iExec (RLC)
RLC is an Ethereum token for the iExec cloud platform in which users can monetize and rent computing power and data.

iExec enables developers to power applications on what is described as a decentralized marketplace for cloud resources. Cloud resources will become more important as the digitization of world continues to increase. People don't want centralized cloud storage so I could see some value in this project.

Mirror Protocol (MIR)
MIR is an Ethereum token that governs the Mirror Protocol which allows the creation of fungible assets, that track the price of real world assets.

The project aims to enable 24/7 equities trading by minting “synthetic” versions of the real thing. MIR tokens can be used to propose and vote on important changes to the protocol. I think the idea of trading “synthetic” versions of the real things could be an interesting future. I know it's being done with stock and is in theory just a derivates market.

Tellor (TRB)
TRB is a decentralized oracle network that allows smart contracts on Ethereum to securely connect to external data sources. TRB (a.k.a. “Tributes”) is an Ethereum token that powers the Tellor network and incentivizes honest reporting of external data.

Like Chainlink and Band Protocol, Tellor is a decentralized Oracle that brings real-world information to smart contracts. Tellor uses the Proof of work mechanism which in my view is not very efficient and I'll just stick with chainlink or Band.
