40 000 already joined the group in Telegram since yesterday. We need to get our act together as this is a prime opportunity right now.
With all the censorship happening with the latest being Reddit hitting and silencing a group from their site for their actions over the last week or so. I must admit I am a bit stunned that they took this action as that is not the popular vote. Users are on those types of sites for a reason and it is not to be told what to do.
Hive already has a bad boy image as we were the rebellious community that shoved two fingers up at a certain Mr Son and told him what he could do with his precious Steemy. The thing is we are not a rabble looking to cause trouble, but then we also would like to know we can't be in trouble as long as we are decentralised.
If something is wrong it is wrong and what we have seen over the last day with Reddit is wrong. Twitter and Facebook we know have no back bone and have to toe the line as they are centralised. Whatever the governments narrative is as long as it suits their goals they will just accept it.
Hive and Leofinance as it is the community that has been targeted has a prime opportunity of grabbing new users and growing literally overnight into something unthinkable. The wallstreetbets gang looks as though they are moving over to telegram and have 40 000 already settled in less than a day according to some reports.
The discord group channel for wallstretbets had less than 500 users over the last 5 years and has just taken off. The reality is many are fed up with being told what they can do and say and are slowly being herded into our direction. The establishment would not like that to happen and think they are winning the battle until they realise what Hive is.
We do need to have more nodes as the more nodes we have the more decentralised we do become from my understanding. Who knows but this is looking quite ripe and a perfect storm scenario to suddenly grow the Leo finance community overnight. I know the team is very proactive and wouldn't bet against them already being in contact welcoming them to their new home. That kind of would make a lot of sense as we are meant to be the bad boys and girls of the block chain world. Here is hoping for a result.

I was reading on Discord that the Reddit opened back up and they already had over a million new subscribers. I am not sure how accurate that is.
