Hive Blockchain Guide
The Hive Blockchain Guide is for all users of the social networking site. Many new users are not aware of how easy using the social networking blockchain site can actually be from what it might seem otherwise out of the box.

Blogging Communities
Blogging communities are a great way for new users to immerse themselves into the Hive Blockchain. In this guide, I will point you to a few of my favorite communities that help me earn good curation rewards.
One thing that's important for new users to review prior to posting in communities is any rules that may apply. I would encourage anyone joining a community to first read their "about" section on PeakD.
Tribes
The Hive Blockchain also hosts Tribes that have sites similar to the main site but are backed by their own token and oftentimes, have their own community as well.
Here are a few of my favorite Tribes:
Similar to communities, new members joining tribes will want to understand the rules of the tribe that may apply. For example, the Neoxian City Tribe has some strict policies around using certain tags that are still closely associated with the Steemit Blockchain.
The last thing you want to do is think you're doing something right and end up with a down-vote! Down-votes can happen and why I think it's important to use Hive Blockchain Communities and Tribes effectively.
Using Discord
Many bloggers might be surprised to hear that discord is one of the most effective ways to market yourself on the Hive Blockchain. I've personally been very active on various discord servers and have been experiencing very positive results.

SEO Strategies
Incorporating SEO into your post is going to be the number one thing you're going to want to focus on above all else. Some easy strategies to optimize your SEO is to use key words and meet a few other basic requirements in your post.
Key Words
Using keywords in your post is critical and you want to think about them prior to writing your new content. This way, you can include the same key words throughout your post in a strategic way.
You want to sprinkle your keywords into your post but need to avoid overusing the same word more than 8 times in a single post.
Word Count
I find having at least 500 words or more is the best way to meet most minimum requirements for other curators and most search engine algorithms to consider the post quality content.
Headers
Headers in your posts are yet another way to improve your blog. You will only want to ever use the H1 header at the beginning of your post and only once.
The H4 header is a good choice whenever you're in doubt.
Images & Thumbnails
The Image Thumbnail of your post should have it's dimensions set at 1280x720 pixels. This is the preferred thumbnail size for Youtube and Google images.

Useful Services
There are so many other useful services on the Hive Blockchain. Most of them are difficult to find for new users but can really help with automating several aspects of the site.
Auto-Voting
I personally think auto-voting is the only way to maximize curation rewards. The best site to set up auto-votes is on the Rewarding.App
Voting Trails
If you're lazy like a lot of people (no offense to anyone), then setting up a voting trail might be easier. Hive.Vote is the best site in my opinion for that!
On this site you can also automate your rewards claims, this is extremely helpful as well for those who constantly forget to claim their rewards.
