PayPal CEO: 28 Million Merchants Will be Able to Use Cryptocurrency for Transactions in 2021

Mr. Schulman pointed out a scenario where dependability on cash has dropped 40 – 70 percent due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Central banks, he said, will eventually go digital, converting paper fiat into their electronic counterparts.

“Early next year we’re going to allow cryptocurrencies to be a Funding Source for any transaction happening on all 28 million of our merchants and that will significantly bolster the utility of cryptocurrencies”
~~ says @PayPal CEO Dan Schulman

WOW!! I don't know why people should not start to accumulate bitcoin from now on... Maybe except buying some #Ethereum, some #Hive and a lot of #LEO 🤗 that can help educating and empowering individuals by talking crypto in this process.

Scarcity.

Something bitcoin offers but not fiats.

I took your advice before even reading it and bought some ETH today. Now...what to do with it? Decisions, decisions! The news of all those retailers accepting BTC is crazy, isn't it? 😺👍

My advice is to hold BTC which is pretty correct given BTC goes up again in these few hours...

But why did you buy ETH... not anything wrong with it though... lol

I didn't buy it to Hodl but with something else in mind. My options for buying HIVE are limited. But I can get LEO by swapping ETH for wLEO. Either way, I'm facing fees. And possible higher prices if I use the LeoDEX.

I also might add it to a pool I'm already in. Hot certain at this point.

BTC is more of a buy and HODL coin as I see it. Especially with exchange fees so high.

One has got to have ALTs in the mix too but definitely BTC has to be there which is not easy to accumulate due to the price.

totally agree and don't invest a lot of money in btc now! you should have done that a couple of months ago
