2021 has already been a heated year for the cryptocurrency world. Market caps have increased to new all-time highs and we are seeing steady growth throughout the cryptoverse.
Many who have been in the game for awhile may finally be ready to start spending some of their newfound wealth. Some will continue to hold and keep gathering more each day. Then we have those who will do both, spend some and stack even more. Of course we cannot forget the Bitcoin OGs who have been transacting large amounts for years now.
Crypto makes a person to person transaction near effortless. The fact there is no third party makes things so much better since you are in control of your own money.
One issue we still run into is that not all businesses are accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies quite yet. Some have adopted this new form of payment and more do so each day.
Until the day comes where cryptos are accepted everywhere, it’s up to ourselves to find the best methods of making use of our own digital finances.

It’s totally up to you if you’re willing to start spending your cryptocurrency. I think we still have a lot of huge gains ahead of us, but I at least like to have my options ready if there were to be a time that I need to spend my crypto.
If you’re all-in on crypto and have already stopped dealing with fiat, then having ways to spend your crypto is essential to continue living life. I’m sure many are already living this way, it depends on the level of wealth and what part of the world they are in.

With the outline you've given so far, it's quite evident that the future of Cryptocurrency is certain because crypto has come to stay. I look forward to when most airports, educational institutions, shopping malls, resource centres and many more organizations and others will embrace the use of the bitcoin and other crypto useful assets as their primary means of payment. There are just far too many big names and brands that have signed on to the idea of crypto. More and more are joining in each day. We are moving forward at a high velocity, there is no turning back.
A future centered around crypto is going to be great. Especially for those of us who got into the idea before 2020.

I have been toying around with the idea of the Crypto.com card for a while now. I learned about them several years ago and I staked a bit of CRO in preparation for the day I would have enough assets to make it worth getting the card. Sadly, I am still not to that point. My BTC is a long term hold so I don't want to dig into that and all of my other holdings are much too small to make it worth having the card. Maybe one day though!

I haven’t been using my card, I just have it in case of emergencies. I’d like to always have a way to use what I hold if ever needed to.
You can get the free CRO card if you want to prepare the same way and then upgrade to the better metal cards later on. It seems like a better debit card than the BitPay card that I had before.
I am kind of waiting to see if Coinbase comes out with a card. One of the things I like about the Crypto.com card is the free Netflix and Spotify at the higher levels, but I don't have enough CRO staked to get those benefits. Wishing now I would have bought more when the price was lower! Story of my life!

I have some SBD left untouched. I was thinking converting it to Hive then Power up my Hive acc, but I'm not quite sure how useful and smart that is.
It depends what you believe in and value most.
SBD is extremely overpriced right now, so it may be a great time to swap it for HIVE.
If I had some SBD left over, I know I’d be buying HIVE with it while it’s still under $1.
Would you stack that HIVE or would you power up with that?
Also, if you have some spare time check out my last post i did for "Let's make a collage" contest. Was wondering if I can cross post that in your community - Graphic Design. It has great examples and techniques which can artist find as a nice inspiration.

Personally I’m focused on stacking my HIVE. I try to keep some HBD handy at all times and also a little bit of liquid HIVE. The majority of what I have gets powered up though.
I believe in this platform for the long term, but I know everyone has different to situations.

Great post. I'm still in the building stage, but am looking forward to getting a Bitcoin powered credit card soon. I thought I signed up for one with coinbase but haven't seen or heard about it since.

I'm forever building, but there may be times where the funds might become useful for certain needs. For now I'm thankful that I do not have to spend my crypto. It's nice to have ways to do so. Coinbase does have a debit card, but I'm more of a fan of Crypto.com's debit card. I've also tried BitPay and no longer use that one.
