These days I read on Twitter that bitcoin is not for everyone, so we will not see mass adoption. I was thinking about it and I see a lot of sense in it, even if our intention is to fill the planet with blockchain technology.
I live in Venezuela, which today is one of the countries with the highest crypto adoption. Cryptocurrencies have been a salvation for many Venezuelans. In a country with an atrocious dictatorship, we have been fortunate that the government is complacent and even sympathetic to cryptocurrencies. Unlike other countries, here the government has seen business in cryptocurrencies and has created mining farms and exchanges.
With all this, plus the fact that I pay for my groceries with cryptocurrency and that we have many places that accept them, especially in the capital; adoption is far from widespread.
The only thing that was generalized was the Petro a pseudo cryptocurrency of the government to use it as a handout to the population. To say that it pays good penalties, but it has practically no use; nobody wants to buy it and many people get cold in their wallet.
This brought the technology a little closer to the common citizen, but it has also generated rejection of the other cryptocurrencies by comparing them with the Petro. They say that there is no bad publicity, I also believe it. I think that in this country the word "cryptocurrency" is more familiar than in others.
Despite this, we are very far from having a massive adoption. Very small part of the population owns cryptocurrency. It seems that the motivation to investigate and look for what it is about, is only for a few; the majority is always comfortable with what they know. Certainly the great crisis we live in has brought many people to look for solutions and in that they have come across HIVE, that is why we are the largest community here. However, if we compare with the people who are out there in the street, the percentage is minimal.
I notice this on Twitter, where I always see someone asking for help because they can't even afford to eat. I recommend HIVE and get no response. Comfort is better than learning the new, the new generates fear and stress.
HIVE is something totally new, for the traditional way of thinking. At first glance it might even seem like part of a scam, "How come I get paid to blog but no one pays because I don't own it". It seems kind of crazy, the incredible system we're building.

Many say that cryptocurrencies are complicated. This is just an excuse from the masses not to take the helm. Blockchain technology is here to stay, but as long as outside there is an offer of something more comfortable for the masses, it will remain there.

Parece que la motivación por investigar y buscar de qué trata, es solo para unos pocos; la mayoría siempre está cómoda con lo que sabe. Esto me doy cuenta en Twitter, donde siempre veo a alguien pidiendo ayuda porque no le alcanza ni para comer. Le recomiendo a HIVE y no obtengo ninguna respuesta. La comodidad es mejor que aprender lo nuevo, lo nuevo les genera miedo y estrés.
HIVE es algo totalmente nuevo, para el tipo de pensamiento tradicional. A primera vista incluso podría parecer parte de una estafa, "Cómo es eso que me pagan por bloguear pero nadie paga porque no tiene dueño". Parece algo de locos, el sistema tan increíble que estamos construyendo.
Las personas están acostumbradas al mundo centralizado. Cuidar las llaves, hacerse cargo de sus finanzas les da mucho miedo. La masa buscará siempre un líder y a lo largo de la historia esta ha sido el Estado, La Iglesia, El Jefe, etc. Es por esto que la mayoría es empledo y no empresario. Ser empresario implica ser el único responsable de tus finanzas. Eso le aterra a la masa.
Con las redes sociales sucede lo mismo. La minoría es creador de contenido profesional. La mayoría solo es espectador. Hacerse responsable de la marca personal para producir ingresos, solo lo hacen unos pocos. Para la masa lo que sea más fácil y cómodo será la elección. Prefieren usar las redes sociales como una distracción, en vez de construir algo.

Pero para vivir ese gran estilo de vida, primero tienes que desprenderte de muchas creencias limitantes y vencer los miedos. Lo primero será decidir la responsabilidad de todo en sus vidas.
Muchos dicen que las criptomonedas son complicadas. Esto solo es una excusa de las masas para no tomar el timón. La tecnología blockchain llegó para quedarse, pero mientras afuera haya una oferta de algo más cómodo para las masas, seguirá ahí.

¿Esto es malo para HIVE? No lo creo; de hecho la prueba de eso es bitcoin, que no está ni cerca de llegar a las masas pero ya ha hecho ricas a muchas personas. También ha impulsado toda la tecnología blockchain. Miles de empresas creadas al rededor de este mundo, incluídos nosotros en HIVE. Existen muchas redes sociales que no se masificaron pero que son exitosas. Por esto veremos comunidad más o menos exitosas y HIVE actuando como base.
HIVE ya es existos y aunque no necesita demostrar mucho más, lo hará; porque su comunidad no descansa. Es una apasionada de construir la mejor red social del mundo, aunque no les guste a las masas...

Sencillamente espectacular, muchas veces he recomendado HIVE y es cierto cuando dices que las personas tienen miedo de no saber la forma en que se generan las recompensas, hace días hablaba con un amigo y me decía que no tenía trabajo, que necesitaba dinero, le Hablé de Hive, pero al final terminó trabajando en un sitio con un horario y un sueldo quincenal, cuando entras a Hive te das cuenta que sólo debes tener constancia, mucha creatividad, encontrar tu nicho y ser responsable contigo mismo ya que cada blog es como una pequeña empresa, la recompensa, pues en mi caso, genero más de lo que ganaría trabajando en un aula de clases(aunque duela decirlo) , tengo la libertad de establecer mi horario, puedo hacer otras actividades, que en mi caso es un emprendimiento donde también acepto pagos en criptos, definitivamente sólo es cuestión de dejar los miedos y tomar la desición de ser el dueño de lo que queremos hacer, Hive representa para los que lo descubren en nuestro país Venezuela un oxígeno ante la monstruosa hiperinflación que nos agobia, así que tal vez tarde en llegar a las masas, pero cada vez somos más los que vamos dando testimonio de lo que Hive hace en nuestras vidas y eso está llamando la atención, y es perfecto. Te apuesto a que si creamos una empresa que contrate personas por escribir; millones llegarían a HIVE. A la gente le encanta ser mandada; tener un jefe que les diga que hacer. Solo con poner un anuncio que pago $50 por tres horas de trabajo al día, no cabría la gente aquí y siendo eso muchísimo menos de lo que obtendrían siendo independientes. La gente no valora su propiedad...

Yes, all governments in the world bring oppression. The most real adaptation of HIVE is done as you say, with the testimony of the people. Es un poco doloroso aceptar esa actitud en las personas, a veces uno quiere hacerlos despertar, lanzarles un vaso de agua bien fría. Sobre todo cuando ves que poseen grandes talentos, y se mantienen atrincherados solo quejándose de sus vidas y de la situación de miseria traducida en depresión en la que se acostumbraron vivir..
Personalmente, inclusive! en mi grupo familiar me dicen que busque un trabajo de verdad; de esos con horarios y jefes. Que seguro lo que hago no es legal...Porque lamentablemente eso es lo correcto para las masas,un jefe, un horario,alguien que me mande y me imponga reglas, el sufrir, la lucha, el exponerme día a día, ir colgando en una camioneta y usar largas horas de mi tiempo en ello; para decir que el sacrifico vale la poca paga que recibo de mi jefe..El acostumbrado en ¨la lucha por la locha¨.
Quizás por eso el gobierno no reacciona en contra de las cripto porque sabe el nivel de conformismo y depresión en el que la población esta sumergida.
