For a long time now, we have been discussing cryptocurrency and the freedom it grants to a majority of the world's population. However, depending on where you live in this vast world, it is hard to conceptualize or totally understand what freedom means to different cultures around the world.
If you are in the US, maybe you are starting to see that the 'most free nation' is just a facade. There is so much political contamination altering everything you held as true. You are realizing the social networks, the fiat wallets have suddenly become the moral cops with serious consequences if you don't tow the line.
If it wasn't obvious before, if you control the money you can control how people behave. Money is the universal anchor that manipulates the psyche of the world's population.
Paypal have taken the initial step. Don't be fooled though. This goes further than that.
Think of CBDCs.
Imagine if your government can limit your access to credit based on what you believe in! Imagine if you went to buy a fine rib eye cut and your transaction declined!
These are the possibilities when you give up your free will.
It doesn't make sense when PayPal decide to deduct funds out of accounts of people who spread misinformation. Who decides it is misinformation in the first place?
It stinks of behavior alteration. They are basically telling you that you can't interrogate the government's position without experiencing some financial pain.
2,500 Dollars fine?
Ooh! That would hurt so bad, especially for me. As Africans, it is not uncommon to have your account limited for no reason at all. In fact, there is a class action suit being developed on PayPal's mistreatment of Africans.
Unfortunately, we don't have much choice. My main source of income comes from PayPal. My client pays me through it. That is the payment processor he trusts the most. I am therefore trapped!
That brings me to Crypto. If you need a reason to get into crypto, this is it!
Freedom! To have the ability to share your viewpoint without an axe over your finances. To have the ability to express your views, regardless of how perverse without the fear of losing your hard earned money.
This is my vision of the future. Invest in decentralization. Invest in crypto. Invest in FREEDOM!
