We have acquired LetherNet, @Lethernetcom, the VPN provider who kept the project alive since the original team quit in 2019!
From everyone at LetheanVPN, We will always be grateful and thank you for allowing the project to take over the VPN provider synonymous with LetheanVPN.
We have purposefully not entered the VPN provider market as a project, allowing the community to run nodes.
Moving forward, we will use LetherNet to provide a base level capacity, ensuring safe internet access to our users. At the same time, the provider will be run and guarded by the development team directly.
We will not highlight our nodes over other reputable providers. Still, we will show a reduced list of exit nodes for all new users to ensure everyone's first experience is as intended by the development team.
All profits will go directly into Lethean development and provider VPN providers better tooling to run their operations; we are a non-profit open-source community.
