Cryptobrewmaster - Renting All Production Facilities

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Cryptobrewmaster

After the New Year's holiday season it is high time to finally make use of all production facilities* in the game.

If I calculated correctly it takes 1,164 CBM to rent them all, except the water tower which I already rent since water is the essence of everything, for 28 days.

Let's rent them one by one.

Hops Farm

Grain Field

Malt House

Academy

After all these purchases I have exactly 0 CBM. I calculated it intentionally to be left with zero money.

I do have some resources from previous productions left, including loads of water and barley.

What do you say ...

How much CBM will I have in four weeks?

With the rent of the water tower in two weeks' time included.

Let's start crafting!

Oh, here is a screenshot I took nine days ago.

Your own beer tastes so good :)

Question: For the facilities, does it require energy to start/collect or do you just need to collect it periodically?

I am asking the above question because right now, I don't see the point in buying beer from the pub unless I am aiming for the ranking rewards or some extra ingredients. Even for the ranking rewards, whether you end up with a loss, break even or make a profit is all due to luck.

It also requires energy. You can drink it from the bar, but also your own beers from your backpack. They give you a lot more energy.

Thanks for letting me know.

Yes, you need energy for some factories to start production.

Water Tower - 1
Grain Field - 2
Malt House - 3

I can't tell you exactly about the hops and yeast since they are busy right now. It's two or three units ...

No, constant buying at the pub just drains your CBM. Occasional buy is OK, I guess.

In the next four weeks I'll try to depend on my own energy :)

Do you plan to drink any of your brewed beer? If so, is there a difference in how much energy you get from them?

I don't think that there is any difference.

As for the drinking your own beer part. I don't believe you can choose to drink your beer specifically. I think that there is a queue and better quality beers are offered first. @rollie1212, am I right? FIFO?

Wow, you're going to be quite busy.
I've also rented most of the buildings.
I'm curious what it will yield.

I don't think we'll be really busy since we'll be waiting for the productions to finish and energy to recuperate most of the time :)

Good luck!

I'm really interested to see how that goes for you - you need to drink a lot of beer to have enough energy for all these buildings, I'm going with renting one after the other at the moment.

Thanks for your interest.

I decided not to drink any beer and see how it goes. If it goes at all.

I started from zero CBM so I don't have (won't invest) any funds for the beer anyway. I'll just wait for the energy to fill up and produce ingredients and beer at a leisurely pace.

I started my first brew with completely homemade ingredients minutes ago.

Yes, it will be slow going at first...

An interesting experiment. I look forward to the result.

Me too :)

It will be slow going at first since I don't want to buy any energy or ingredients.

This makes the experiment so interesting, the sum at the end of the experiment is very interesting.

Interesting idea but for the intensive work you need to restore the the facilities with CBMs... if not, you'll produce only normal and good beers...

Yes, profit from sales will go into facilities. At least some of it. I'll see if I'll have the patience to put this plan through :)

My pessimistic guess is between 800 an 1000 CBM after 28 days. Anyway I'm really interested to see how it will end.
Cheers for this experiment 🙂

You might be too optimistic :)
