The most anticipated upgrades on LeoThreads are live! A little over a month ago, microblogging on Hive was born. At first, it was a basic product that was put out for LeoFinance users to test. Based on initial feedback, @khaleelkazi and the team have made a ton of changes. This is what I love about Web3 communities! Users are also the stakeholders, hence it's in their best interest to let the core dev team know how to make the product better.
Nobody can make a decentralized Twitter on day 1 without putting millions of dollars of resources and even if they do have such resources, they can still fail!!! We have a working product with an active community to start with. The rest is up to us now. The latest upgrades on the LeoThreads are game-changing. The user experience (UX) is 10x better now and we have some handy features added to the UI. I am loving them already and you will too. Here's a quick summary of these upgrades:

Performance
The "Threads" Tab on LeoFinance.io was slow and buggy! It used to take a lot of time to load and sometimes get stuck in between. This is a recipe to move your users away. For example, it stopped me from using it even though I badly wanted to. Also, it didn't work on mobile which was also fixed recently. Majority of users access micrblogging apps like Twitter via Mobile. The current update to the Threads Engine has drastically improved its performance and thus the user experience. Reliability
Another update done on Threads Engine was to remove dependency on Hive-Engine/Scotbot to load Threads content. It means the issues that occur to Hive-Engine won't affect LeoThreads display. You will not see a blank UI in case something happens that is not in the LeoFinance team's control. The same upgrade will also move to LeoFinance blogging UI. You will not be able to upvote or perform certain tasks during the downtime but still can scroll your feed and read content.
User's Threads
This is one of the most requested features among all and without a doubt the most important one. Now you can see your own threads under "Threads" Tab on your profile page.
Previously it was difficult to find your previous threads unless you are ok scrolling down endlessly or saving the links of each of your threads separately. That is not possible to do when you are having hundreds of threads created everyday. This feature has solved the problem and I think it will seriously boost engagement on LeoFinance. You can also check threads created by other users when you visit the "Threads" tab on their profile pages.
Consumer Feedback
Web3 is community oriented and that is its biggest edge over Web2. As I mentioned in the intro part of this blog, user feedback is going to be the biggest contributor to the success or failure of this project. Microblogging will not only retain the current community members but add new ones as well. At least those who already have a hive account can easily use it using Leo frontend.
We have a kickass team that follows the community-first approach, listens to its users, and is ready to make the changes as suggested. We just have to keep testing the app from all fronts and provide ideas on how to make it more user-friendly and convenient. You can even earn $LEO token for doing so.

I think the next thing they need to work on is a feed for LEO but it's nice to see the development. Is there any way they can stop that blank screen on the normal site and not just threads?
