I know a lot of people have been considering joining that NFT spaces but don't know where to start or afraid of the huge gas fee. I'm happy to tell you that objkt.com has made it easy for new artists to be a part of the NFT family. In some of my previous blogs, I've made sure to let you know that the space isn't for artist alone. It's open for musician, writers, photographers and ofcus artists. What of I told you that even a tweet has been sold as NFTs before? As long as you can make your creativity digital, you can sell it as an NFT.

Starting as a newbie, I'd advise you to start from Objkt.com. This is because:

  • You pay very little gas fee to mint. You'd need like 3tezos to mint a collection and 1tezos is 654naira(which is around $1.41) as we speak. You can easily purchase tezos on Binance, it's showing as XTZ on the app then send it to the temple tezos to be used as the gas fee.

  • It's easier to build your reputation there. Lot of collectors are many in that gallery because even artists are collectors. Due to the low value of tezos compared to Eth (which is used on other blockchains) people are able to afford these pieces.

  • Most importantly, it's faster to register and mint on Objkt.com compared to other galleries.

STEPS ON HOW TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON TEZOS.

  • The first thing to do is to download Temple Tesoz on playstore or on Pc. (This is because the wallet doesn't work on an iPhone)
  • After Downloading, you create an account and keep your seed phase safe.
  • Next you go to Objkt.com, then connect the gallery to the temple tezos waller by clicking on Sync. Once it connects, the gallery becomes open.
  • Then you complete some simple steps verifications on your social media accounts then you are good to go.

Steps on how to mint.

  • You go to the action bar on top right, click on it and then click on create.

  • Next you will be directed to the page where you upload your work, put tags and descriptions.

  • After minting, you look under the image and see Actions, that's where you set the price on the piece. And voila, you're an NFT artist.

I do hope to see you there and I hope ypu find this helpful.
