The key problem with us humans is that we tend to avoid the thoughts of our mortality. We really don't have as much time as we think we do. Every single second we spend doing something that isn't productive and wouldn't add any value to our future is wasted time, and must be avoided by all means.

The fact is that the clock is ticking. Not just ticking, the clock is ticking away. And we're all fading each and every day. What we should be asking ourselves, is that are we living the life that we want to live? Or are we living the life that will lead us to a better life that we desire for our self?

The fact is that most people retire from active business at the age of 65. That's usually the age the majority of people start really declining in almost all aspects of life. Assuming that you're 30 years now - you have 35 more years to be active. And the truth is that you don't have all that 35 years to your productivity.

You'll have to sleep for at least 1/4 the time (Say 6hrs out of 24hrs each day) - which means that you'll sleep for like 9 years out of the 35 years. So you're left with 26 years. What about time for family and entertainment, and transport and movement - you'll probably spend another 6years on those. So you're actually left with like 20 years to be productive between ages 30 and 65. And before we know it, we're old. There's nothing worst than wasted time.
