Apparently, OpenAI is now in a "code red" stance and plans to deprioritise a potentially big revenue stream in the form of #ads, as well as what some would call an important feature: #agents.
Personally I do find Gemini better than ChatGpt, so it has become my preferred AI tool.

Yes, it's understandable! And Google is generating so much cash flow that they can operate Gemini with losses for years, whereas OpenAI needs profits rapidly to survive.
As far as personal usage is concerned, I lean more towards self-hosted open source LLMs, due to the flexibilit, full autonomy and privacy they offer.
I am currently using it to support me in coding my AI model for football prediction. And Gemini is currently doing a better job in that.
But I do have plans to feed the code the ChatGpt and see what they think of that.
