A very interesting interview, thanks @thedessertlinux ! While it was unfolding, I couldn't help thinking that the political body behind the main regulatory framework, i.e. the European Union, is litteraly right now a moving corpse, very similar to what the Soviet Union was at the end of the 1980's. So, what can be the relevancy of trying to comply with anti-freedom regulations that will sink into history's landfill in a couple of years? Better to look for freedom friendly jurisdictions.
🧐 In general I think it's hard to disagree with what you wrote.
"Jurisdiction" and "freedom" I think will always struggle to get along 🤔😅
That said, I think these attentions can be useful especially to improve the visibility of a project.
Well, the rest of the world is adopting this same "whitepaper standard" so it's relevant still.
Sure, it's important to follow those State impulsed moves. But in spite of the "anonymized" Georgian created crypto that Shota mentions at the end of the interview, I don't see "regulatory" entities allowing truly decentralized and privacy focused currencies having their Whitepapers approved. We know that in those legal architectures the first objective is to control and to be able to trigger a "kill switch" (the EU Parliament has a proposal to implement one in all "smart contracts"). The "retail investors protection" is at best a marketing trick, and usually plain lie.
I mean what about Dash?
Good morning, video unavailable it says
Working for me.
🤔 I see it correctly. I'll try to give you a different link in the meantime:
Now can see it, thank you
Thanks to you 👍
Yes, yesterday I had the same case as @khantaimur , but now it's watchable! I'm gonna enjoy it (through my favorite YouTube privacy frontend 🙃) and most probably drop some comments. Thanks for the Dash Community invaluable work!!
