The Rationality In The Decision To "Move"; Should We Stay Stagnant Because We Fear Moving "HIVE-WARD?"

I want to start by saying we don't incur innovations by absolutely doing nothing, and innovations don't basically happen until we bring them to being with our every actions. Many people have criticised the decision to build hive out of Steem because of fears and uncertainty of success they forget that the need to come up with hive was because steem was collapsing and if we say because we're scared of whether hive might become successful or not stick with a dying steem wouldn't that of course be a no-brainer? Definitely it would, actions sometimes are not easy especially when it's born out of necessity but we hardly know the outcome of a decision we have made and not making it would have signified redundancy.

Do should we say because the future is uncertain we refuse to take actions that might only signal moving forward? People's comfort zone is that unrecognized limitations that's terribly holding them back. Truth is life is all about the things people do rather than the things they didn't. So inaction in a testing or trying position shows cowards and a lack of ability to undertake risk. Risk is everything and not undertaking risks doesn't mean one is trying to be safe from danger it means one is simply fast forwarding an unfriendly negative outcome that one is initially avoiding.

It's just like the black and white situation of life: it's either you thrive or you die and there's no sort of prevention of danger that brings something different. When people make the most difficult of decisions it's not because they're happy to, but because they need to. Not making decisions because it seems difficult means cowardice and that's the situation with the way hive was born. So whether hive would survive or note, we're certainly not sure but the repercussions of not going or coming up with hive means we will sink with steem as a result of oligarch overlord Justin Sun. So our after actions after we've made the most difficult of decisions depends on how far we will go, that's why inactions sometimes causes more harm.

Inasmuch as people think that making mistakes ruins people they must understand that not making mistakes at all means the lessons they would have learnt from actually making mistakes in the first place means they're not moving forward psychologically and mentally and this would still mean the initial stagnancy that I mentioned in the first place. Steem was an emotional place for us, it was the dream thing but it's beyond saving now and the only reasonable thing would be to move forward and moving forward is of course HIVE So whether hive will surpass Bitcoin or not, we haven't planned of that but systematically the decision to fork was the only reasonable thing a community whose original home is being torn apart can do.

I didn't want to hardfork but after the steemit team left, we didn't have much of a choice because they were the only ones allowed to make changes to the blockchain. After everyone powers down and sells their steem, there is a chance that steem could actually pump very high; not because steem is superior to hive, but because the Korean community might use steem as a pump coin. Most of the volume always came from the Koreans so if they accumulate more, they can have a greater jnfluence. However, I see hive as being more superior technology wise because people here actually care about making dapps compared to the current steem community.

Well at the end it all boils down to community, nobody wanted to fork as Sun Put people in the most difficult of situations so far. Like you said I feel hive now have the backing of a community and that's why I tip it to go far.
