At What Price Will You Sell Your Bitcoin?

A new poll says that the majority of bitcoin HODLers will hang on to bitcoin until the very end

Peter Schiff tried to discredit bitcoin, but instead wound up on the losing end yet again...

The long time gold fanatic and bitcoin skeptic did his best to troll bitcoin yet again.

He recently put up a Twitter Poll asking readers to weigh in how long they would hang on to bitcoin before they sold it.

His question went like this:

“How much longer does the price of Bitcoin have to stay below $10,000 before you will throw in the towel and sell?”

Except the answers he received may have thrown him for a loop...

The overwhelming majority said that they will not sell their bitcoin no matter how long it takes to break $10k. In fact, they plan on taking it to their grave.

Check out the results:

This wasn't some rinky-dink 30 person poll by the way either, close to 30k people responded to this poll with roughly 60% of them saying they won't be selling no matter how long it takes.

The results somewhat backfired on Schiff who was hoping to hear people say they would be throwing in the towel if bitcoin didn't start showing some positive momentum.

Schiff takes his shots at bitcoin whenever he can...

If you have followed Schiff for any length of time you would likely know that he isn't really even a bitcoin skeptic anymore.

He's an outright bitcoin basher.

No matter what it does, he will find some way to twist the narrative and take a shot at ol bitcoin.

Here's an example of a poll he put out the other week doing exactly that:

Unfortunately for many of us, it's hard to argue with Schiff and the current price action of gold and bitcoin.

Gold is making new highs while bitcoin is barely clinging to support levels.

However, bitcoin also rallied roughly 3x from the lows and is still in the midst of consolidating those gains as well as fully digesting the most recent block reward halving.

If I had to pick a winner over the next 18 months, gold or bitcoin from here, I'd go with bitcoin and I really don't even think it's going to be close.

Stay informed my friends.

there is no way I am selling my bitcoins right now, Instead I'm buying more every month so that there is no more bitcoin there to sell.

I will think about selling it when it is so far away from it's mining price that it cannot go further

Yep, agreed.

I really had a totally different answer in my head till I opened this up! I would keep my bitcoins as long as it is doing well but if I'm certain the bears are coming, I'll quickly sell and be ready to buy the dip on ChangeNOW I won't miss out on any opportunity to increase the units of bitcoins I own.

I have some I hold forever and some I trade. It's hard to know exactly when the bear market begins.

That's true.
