I am using Brave Browser for more than a year now and the reason I do that is because Brave Browser doesn't store our data nor sells them, it's way faster than any web browser out there and the best thing is that every Brave user gets paid to watch adds.
Here is how much BAT I've earned thanks to Brave Browser the past 1 year just for clicking on adds

Brave users earn 0.010 BAT every time they click on an add. I am usually getting 5-10 adds a day and all you have to do to earn BAT is to click on the this icon at the bottom right corner of your screen whenever an add window appears
You can easily view how much BAT you've earned the past month by opening a new windows and taking a look at your Brave Rewards Summary.
Keep in mind that this only displays the rewards you earned the past month. You can view your total BAT balance as well as increase/decrease the amount of adds your getting at the Brave Rewards page.
Make sure to set the amount of adds you're getting to the maximum (5 adds/hour) to earn more BAT! You can find this setting by going at your Brave Rewards page and clicking on this icon marked bellow.
You can trade/sell your BAT on Uphold (https://uphold.com/).
You need to hustle 25 BAT in order to sync your Brave Rewards with Uphold and your monthly rewards will be automaticaly sent to your Uphold wallet. You can then trade them for other crypto or FIAT.

Man I sent Uphold my verification documents like two months ago and haven't been verified yet. I've even sent them two emails regarding the issue, but they haven't resolved it yet. As a result, my BAT are just sitting there.

Wow, that's quite a lot! Is that from one calendar year, as in 365 days?
Just recently started using Brave but the figures are a bit lower for me at the moment. Although I'm not complaining, it really feels like free money as it's so similar to Chrome.
I do feel it also gives rewards if you don't click it? Or at least just close it if it isn't interesting, not sure if the reward is smaller though. Anyway great motivation to keep this up :-)
These are my rewards after 1 year and 5 months of using Brave plus 3 or 4 referral rewards!
Brave is BY FAR the best browser out there and earning even 1$ every month just for clicking on adds is awesome in my opinion.
I don't know about rewards if you don't click on adds. Gonna have to check this one out!

Yeah try it, definitely saves you time when it's uninteresting. But I wholeheartedly agree it's easy earnings and still fully optional if you'd like to skip it at some point.

I think it also has to do with the countryy you live in. There's a list of how much BAT you can earn in your country somewhere in the BRAVE Rewards FAQ!
