Next Earth
There have been a number of different projects that have given people the ability to buy NFTs of land in the real world. Obviously, this doesn't mean you own the actual land, but it does mean that you own that portion of land within whatever specific metaverse platform - such as Next Earth. I've written in the past about Super World, which is a similar platform taking advantage of an augmented reality overlay on the real world map. Pretty interesting stuff here, and it has huge potential.
As a hardcore NFT technology supporter, I can see these kinds of projects exploding within the next couple years as more and more shit becomes digital. We are going to continue to see more and more virtual experiences such as concerts and movie premiers taking place in the metaverse.
As web3 supporters and crypto nerds, we all should be educating ourselves about these kinds of projects before the boom happens. I don't know when or how it will happen, but there will be a time when we all are going to wish we had got in early.
If you're reading this, you've likely used CoinGecko, or at least heard about it. I've always talked about claiming your Candies, and I'll continue to do so as they have real value. Always something cool to redeem them for, whether it be an NFT or crypto tokens.
Right now, for only 700 Candies, you can redeem a voucher worth $50 to purchase land in Next Earth if you subscribe to CoinGecko Premium. There was an offer for all users for the same voucher at 1000 Candies, but it has been fully claimed. With this $50 gift voucher, you'll be able to claim any unclaimed land on the map. Different land has different prices, so choose wisely.
Head to the Candies Rewards page and click Redeem Now. Once you've done that, you can head to your My Rewards page to get your Voucher code.
Once you have your Voucher code, head to Next Earth and click "Use my Gift Card".
Once you've entered your Voucher code, you're ready to select the land tiles you would like to purchase. Depending on the area, it's going to be roughly 30 tile of unclaimed land.
It took me a really long time to decide where I wanted to claim my plots, because I was trying to be strategic. Next Earth mentions all sorts of things you can do with your land such as staking and advertising.
Once you've selected your land plots, the rest of the process is straight forward. You'll have a chance to register with your email or with just your Wallet address.
The last thing you'll do is confirm the transaction with your wallet. Now you are the proud owner of some land in the metaverse, courtesy of CoinGecko.
I highly recommend taking advantage of this if you are a Premium subscriber. The project seems to have a lot planned, and so why not go ahead and get involved for free?

Accumulating land in meta verse project is a really good strategy it’s really cheap and the upside is enormous. 2021-2022 there were lands going to 1 million probably even more!

I was so stupid ... i wrote about it a while back, when it was available in CoinGecko for all and I missed my chance.
Now its not worth it to become a premium for it - I d rather pay to get the land :)
I am interested to see how this project evolves :)
