Hello, LBIer's. There are 2 updates today to share. The first being related to "HELP a CUB" and the second to do with @CUBLIFE and the CL token presale. Let's jump in.

Help a CUB

Last week, this project was put on ice for a few weeks until a new improved plan can be thought up. I have taken advice from a few different people and what everyone suggested to make the giveaway more of an incentive to use LeoFinance instead of making it a single post and collect votes. Nothing has been set in stone but so far but hosting sort of a CUB challenge where contestants would have to complete a few tasks and show consistently to the platform looks to be a good way forward.

Below is a snap of something I put together quickly to give you a better idea of what im thinking. You can see there are 13 things but I'd like to have 25 in total but these 13 are related to uploading content/comments. The other 12 could be things like join the LEO discord server, CUBfinanace, use LEODEX, subject something to Leopedia, etc. Again this is just an example to give you an idea if what im thinking.

We can this person made x5 1000+ posts and x2 1500+ word post in 1 week (Yellow). x2 of them were videos and x4 were non-crypto finance content (Pink). A weekly bonus (Orange) total's 10 points for receiving more than 20 comments on x1 post and posting daily. See, pretty simple?

Who's gonna track all this?

This is where the game-changer is introduced. Instead of letting people self nominate, we will have users of the community nominate CUBs they think are deserving of a helping hand in the way of some new hardware. These CUB's could be people that are just starting out are have been on LeoFinance for a few months already but still at the start of the journey. The kicker is whoever nominates a CUB is responsible for filling in the scorecard for a CUB every week and forwarding the results to me for 8 weeks so any 8 times. All the information required to fill in that scorecard can found by looking at the CUBs last 7 days worth of posts and checking the weekly LeoFinace stats post for "top 10 commenters" and that is it, 10 mins and no more.

Weekly votes for 8 weeks

A weekly post would be released @lbi-gov to show each CUB's weekly score and progress chart and also to hold a vote where LeoFinance users vote on 1 CUB every week. (PS, I still need to ask the LBI gov team to see if they have the time, so if you can keep that one the down-low until I speak with them that would be cool). The winner of "Help a CUB" would be the CUB with the highest weekly average voting score over the total 8 weeks. No voting result released until the 8 weeks are finished and the winner announced. Voting weights will remain the same with users that made donations votes worth 2 and everyone else's worth 1.

I think voting is better than picking the CUB with the highest score and the weekly score of each CUB should be used as something to help you decide who gets your vote. As an example, 1 person might tick off all the boxes but you can see the content and comments or rushed and uploaded to get higher points. Another person might only upload 2 posts in 1 week but those 2 posts could be the holy grail of posts and contain their weight in gold in information. Which CUB is adding more to the ecosystem? I think (hope) most will agree voting is better.

Round up

I have cracked the seal and could almost write a post now about this but I've really only thought up half of everything we need set up so it might take another week is 2 to plan this out properly. In addition to the scorecard, there would be some terms to adhere to as well for CUBs. These will include a few things but I guess the most important would be no power-downs during the 8 weeks. We would like to take 8-12 new CUB's and leave them after 8 weeks with the knowledge and foundations to continue to grow dependently. If you post 5-7 times a week and leave 150 comments to posts every week for 8 weeks, it sort of becomes part of your routine and we all know that HIVE/LEO is a hard habit to shake, 8 weeks down the rabbit hole and you're hooked.

Please let me know what you think about the suggested idea's above. If you have spotted any flaws are thought the idea is piss, let me know in the comments below. Like said, nothing is set in stone and this is would I've come up with based on the feedback and convo's I've had with a few people.

Yo CUBS, only about 24 hours left to get involved in the presale for CUBLIFE (CL) tokens. After that, you'll have to wait until the next issue on the 21st of June.

What is CUBLIFE? (quickly)
CUBLIFE takes all the monies (HIVE/hivep/LEO) it gathers from issuing CL tokens and puts all these monies on CUBfinance to earn more monies. 50% of those harvested monies are converted to LEO and distributed to CL tokens holders every Friday, 40% of harvested monies are reinvested to make more monies in the future and 10% of harvested monies is sent to @lbi-token as an operators fee as LEO.

HIVE/LEO > CUBfinance > CUB harvests > 60% back to LEO (50% Divs) > 40% compounded
