Issued LEO Tokens

Let’s take a look into token issuance and how it is distributed over time.

image001.png

This chart is representing the total LEO supply, circulating supply and burned tokens.

A total of 8.02M issued LEO tokens, 2.15M burned, 5.86M circulating supply.

image003.png

A total of 51k LEO were issued in the last week.

Let’s see how these tokens were distributed.
Below is the chart of the top 10 LEO earners this week.

image007.png

@onealfa is on the top followed by @rollandthomas and @taskmaster4450.

The @wleo.pool account have 4.6k LEO issued in the week. These are liquidity providers incentives.

Rewards from Bounties

As mentioned above in the last week there is some leftover refunds made from the bounties account. Also, the regular bounty to the HP delegators. Users who delegate their HP to the @leo.voter receive daily payouts in the form of LEO tokens at a rate of ~16% APR.

image009.png

@oldtimer on the top followed by @lafona-miner and @onealfa.

Staking LEO

Below is a chart that represents the daily flow of staked and unstaked LEO tokens. A positive bar going up shows a day where more LEO was staked than unstaked.

image011.png

July 2019 is excluded from the chart for better visibility. Those are the first days and there are a lot of tokens staked.

In the last month there has been large moves in the staking and unstaking numbers, due to the liquidity providers on Uniswap.

Prior to WLEO 1 there was a lot of unstaking. Then the hack happened, and users staked their tokens again. Then WLEO 2 was announced and went live with more unstaking. In the last week things seem to be stabilizing.

Below is the chart of the top 10 users that staked LEO last week:

image015.png

The @lbi-token project has staked a massive 130k LEO. @atma.love is next and then comes @fbslo.

The Overall Flow of the LEO Token Supply:

image019.png

The yellow (liquid LEO) is an interesting category. A lot of movements here due to the WLEO launch.

Note on the yellow, liquid category above. It includes the LEO in the liquidity pool as well. If we remove that, the liquidity will be much lower.

Below is a chart of the ratio staked/unstaked tokens.

image017.png

75% staked and 15% in the liquidity pool.

Sort:

The crashing of scotbot is a major bummer.

Good job to the commenters this week. We were hitting the 1,000 average until Scotbot crashed.

We will reach it this week.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Do you have any background on this how this could have happened? Since yesterday evening until around lunchtime today nothing was possible. I guess it also affected the commenting on my last post - very annoying :( I don´t post that often in Leofinance and if I do then it goes offline!

I have no clue. Is it even just a scotbot issue?

Google went down for a while also, wiping out Gmail and YouTube.

Makes on begin to question if the conspiracy theories about the kill switch on the Internet are true.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I didn't notice that, but I heard from someone else that YouTube didn't work.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah, the scotbot crash was very unfortunate.. I could potentially have reached the leaderboards this week, but I'll make up for it after Christmas. I am finally able to spend some more time on LeoFinance after that.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The @lbi-token project is massive, imagine if we can see more initiative like that.
I'm still hanging on to the top ten of the most comments. Cheers. It's another productive week except for the outage

LeoFinance Users
1792

Previous was 1727, so we added 65 new members in a week.

Self congratulating myself to make up in the comment list again.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

A nice and steady growth. Makes me wonder what will happen in 2021 when we see the referral system in place.

Interesting numbers, especially the ones on staking. The more people stake, the better.

As for the earnings, the highest earners are also the highest stakeholders and it is normal that they have the highest earning, coming mostly out of curation. This means that they do the best for the platform by curating.

On a personal view, I did not think that I would hit the top10 this week, as I've start focusing on giving higher quality comments instead of quantity. Not to be misunderstood, I speak only for myself as the top commenter is one of the top also in quality of the responses.

Thanks for the report!

higher quality comments instead of quantity

I can relate to that. I did the same thing when I managed to end up in the leaderboards, and I will continue to do the same thing as well, regardless of how much time I have. Nowadays, I have very limited time, but it looks like things will be better after Christmas so my goal is to place myself within the leaderboards the last week of December and the first week of January at least.

Who knows what happens after that...

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I've crossed that target out of my book, as I've seen some really bad comments lately, just to fill the masses. Yes, we need engagement, but we need quality engagement. The top spot is definitely an example to live and go by, that is for sure. He does a lot of quality comments and votes. I will try to do the same and focus on giving more quality in here. Thanks for your comment.

I've seen some really bad comments

It's unfortunate, but it's inevitable.
The more people we have, the more low quality comments (and articles) we will see.

I just wish that the real engagement will be more visible than the crap at the end of the day, and by the looks of things, we seem to do pretty good so far.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Ohh, that for sure. I've seen some also, I still did not flag yet,but will probably will start doing it. Here I shall write some comments before, so that the person can correct it on the way.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Good job on the comments everyone!
I'll be back on the leaderboards in the near future so make the most of it while you can.. :P

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

lol second again!

@dalz you nailed the name this time :P :P
