in LeoFinance3 years ago (edited)

Welcome to the first weekly edition of LeoFinance stats report in 2021. It has been a great start of the year for LEO so let's check the numbers.

This is a weekly report covering December 28, through January 3.

If you want to learn a bit more about the LeoFinance ecosystem and dig into the numbers, this is the place to be.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Issued LEO Tokens
  • Top LEO Earners
  • Rewards to HP delegators trough the leo.bounties program
  • Daily stats on tokens staking
  • Share of tokens staked
  • Top Users that staked
  • Unique number of LeoFInance users
  • Posts/comments activities on the platform
  • Posting from LeoFinance.io interface
  • Price Chart

Issued LEO Tokens

Let’s take a look into token issuance and how it is distributed over time.

Below is a chart that represents the cumulative issued LEO tokens.

image001.png

This chart is representing the total LEO supply, circulating supply and burned tokens.

A total of 8.17M issued LEO tokens, 2.16M burned, 6.01M circulating supply.

Next is the issued LEO tokens from last week. Here is the chart:

image003.png

A total of 51k LEO were issued in the last week.

Let’s see how these tokens were distributed.
Below is the chart of the top 10 LEO earners this week.

image007.png

@rollandthomas is on the top this week with 1590 LEO earned, just 7 more than @onealfa @taskmaster4450le on the third place.

The @wleo.pool account have 5.3k LEO issued in the week. These are liquidity providers incentives.

Rewards from Bounties

Users who delegate their HP to the @leo.voter receive daily payouts in the form of LEO tokens at a rate of ~16% APR. Also at time some other bounties are in place.

image009.png

I think the top account is funds for the current initiative for financial goals for 2021. They will be rewarded to the best participant.
@bridwatcher on the top followed by xxxxx….. and @oldtimer.

Staking LEO

Below is a chart that represents the daily flow of staked and unstaked LEO tokens. A positive bar going up shows a day where more LEO was staked than unstaked.

image011.png

July 2019 is excluded from the chart for better visibility. Those are the first days and there are a lot of tokens staked.

In the last week we have more staking probably due to an upcoming airdrop of a new token.

Below is the chart of the top 10 users that staked LEO last week:

image015.png

Some massive staking amounts in the top three, each with around 50k. @steemstreems, @yabapmatt and @onealfa.

The Overall Flow of the LEO Token Supply:

image019.png

The yellow (liquid LEO) is an interesting category. A lot of movements here due to the WLEO launch.

Note on the yellow, liquid category above. It includes the LEO in the liquidity pool as well. If we remove that, the liquidity will be much lower.

Below is a chart of the ratio staked/unstaked tokens.

image017.png

As already mentioned, there is an increase in the amount of LEO staked in the week, from 75% to 78%. These leaves just above 100k liquid tokens, shared on HE and Uniswap. Basically, a liquidity crunch, and if someone would like to get some larger LEO amounts, the only way is Uniswap.

LeoFinance Users

Below is a chart with the number of unique users that posted from the LeoFinance frontend.

image021.png

A total of 1983 unique users have posted from the LeoFinance frontend.

In the last period there is an increase in the number of new users.

Monthly Active Users Posting from LeoFInance [MAU]

Here is the chart for the monthly active users that posted from the leofinance.io interface.

image023.png

I have made a guess in the last week report with around 720 MAU for December, but the real number now is above 800. The week has been far better then expected and LEO is going for a 1000 MAU now.

A continues increase in the number of MAU in the last four months.

Activities on LeoFInance

Below is a chart of the LeoFinance activities with the numbers of posts from the LeoFinance interface and posts with the #leofinance tag.

image025.png

The yellow are posts from the leofinance interface and the orange posts from other hive frontends with the leofinance tag.

Here is the chart showing only posts made from the LeoFinance.io interface.

image027.png

The up trend in the numbers of post from leofinance continues in the last week as well with a total of 1301 post in the week. A new ATH in posts number in the last week with 203 posts per day on January 3rd.

LeoFinance has introduced a 10% incentive for posting trough the native frontend. When users post from other frontends and just with the leofinance tag they have 10% less rewards.

Number of comments from LeoFinance.io

There is an initiative in the last period for engagement on the platform and some of the large stakeholders have been voting comments a lot.

Here is the chart for the numbers of comments starting from April 2020.

image029.png

The comments have gone parabolic in the last period. There is a drop in the comments in the last weeks that most probably is due to some technical issues that the frontend is experiencing, like Hive nodes etc. In the last days we have some up movement, so things are better now. A total of 4937 comments in the week.

Authors that commented the most

There is an initiative in the last period for engagement on the platform and some of the large stakeholders have been voting comments a lot.
Here are the top authors that commented the most.

image031.png

@taskmaster4450le is on the top with 275 comments from the leofinance interface, followed by @filotasriza3 and @acesontop.

Price

All time LEO price

It is interesting to look at the LEO token price, keeping in mind the crazy ride that HIVE had in the previous month.

Here is the price chart in dollar value with average price for better visibility.

image033.png

Have in mind the above is an average daily price.

LEO price in the Last 30 days

Here is the price of LEO in the last 30 days also in dollar value:

image035.png

The price of ETH is up in the last days, and LEO is following closely with price going up from 0.25$ to 0.4$ in a week. A new ATH :).

Yea that one to ... maybe the most important one :)
Burning some LEO!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Excellent statistics that say that the best leofinance time is yet to come. My goal for this week is 276 comments. It will be fun :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is a great goal. We look forward to seeing you around.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There is someone to look up to! It's going to be a tough week, but I'm in the game :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

following the news of the airdrop the staking of the last days is impressive!

We await news on this :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There is very little liquid LEO available.

It will only get worse as time passes.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Me running to buy more Leo
Can you stop triggering my FOMO on Leo please ? :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks for the stats @leo.stats. It's interesting to see the evolution. Even though it was a different week due to the New Year, activity on leo seems to be almost constant. The amount of issued LEO tokens were almost the same as on other days, which is great.

The LEO token price has gone mad but there's and explanation for that, it's not without reason.

My activity on the platform was not at the same level as a week before due to the holidays but the festive period is over and I'm back :)

Anyway, it's great to see the evolution and the community activity still growing.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Holidays had a lot to do with things. We can see it in the daily page views. Been picking up the last 4-5 days thought.

As noted in another comment, set an all time high yesterday.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

No worries, starting from today it's business as usual, this week is going to be different, you'll see.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Just a question: Is there a benefit for posting and commenting through the Leofiance Front End?

I originally was posting through there but due to some node issues, I ended up posting through ecency. I know stemgeeks have a system where they get more rewards.

The node issues are all fixed now - also, yes there are higher % reward when posting through the UI and also the Leo community sees a badge next to content that is posted from LeoFinance.io, so it also generally gets bigger upvotes.

Also, @leo.voter only upvotes content from our UI.. in short - post from our UI for the highest rewards ;$

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks for letting me know. I will post more on the Leofinance UI when interacting with Leo content.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

LEO's growth has been impressive!

Great work on the statistics, @leo.stats.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Wow, thanks for the great stats. Leo is looking very bullish in the moment. I'm still working on my first post :-)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You'd have thought some downtime over the Xmas period would be expected but doesn't seem to have had any detrimental impact on the activity around Leo! I was hoping to get to 100 comments at least this week with the time off from work... guess I didn't do too badly in the end! Oh well, back to work today :D

The monthly active user growth is phenomenal! With the LeoMini or whatever it will be called, I think that will push things up to 1,000! Keep up the great work!!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

hehe forever second :P

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

People usually take a liking for the eternal seconds :D

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
