Can there be engagement and networking without discourse?
When does the work of content creation begin and end. Does replying to comments exist as an essential part of content creation?

It should but everyone has their own limitations. If someone writes great stuff but never responds to comments I'm not personally bothered because I came for the content anyway but more is always better in this business.
