I remember the time when people said 30% pullbacks during a bull run is normal for crypto. I wonder what would happen if a 30% pullback does happen at current prices. It would mean BTC goes down over $15,000 and I think people would freak out.

A lot of people will pull out their investments and a lot will buy more, but in the real sense, BTC is way too stable than having a 30% pullback. That might not happen during our existence

I think anything is possible. I believe a 30% pullback can happen. It is always possible for another black swan event like in March for the pandemic where everything will fall. The federal reserve also wants to check if banks can withstand a 55% drop in equity prices. I doubt we will prices like 10k or 15k, but prices like 35k or 40k is definitely possible.

It takes some getting use to.
I use to think $10K was a lot until I started to lose that in a day (and gain it).
Really just numbers on a screen and short term focus will drive one nuts. That is why long term is the best future for me.

Yea but I avoid leverage unless the risk is low. Long term is much easier and the options market in the stock market seems easier to me. Long-term, just buy the stock and sell upside calls. Sure you might not lose as much and you might not gain as much, but selling covered calls is an easy long-term investors way around.
Normal options are also good since risk is defined and you got a game plan too. Low risk and long-term outlook seems to work the best for me.

Yes, thinking about that perspective you are right. The future is moving towards the digitalization of things.
But maybe @taskmaster4450le, people still don't have a mindset that we as enthusiasts already have about cryptocurrencies. Perhaps this is one of the reasons for wanting to "diversify" your earnings.
But considering the issue of BTC, it would not be worth selling today, and in a few months or even years, it may be worth much more.

I know what you mean and I don't get you wrong. It's cool to have your own place where you can do what you want, when you want, as you want.
I meant it's hard to see your money go out of your pocket every month and you're still not paying for your own house. It's tough.
But seriously, my stake value has doubled in one month. Obviously this growth is not something you can take for granted and calculate what it'll worth in two years using extrapolation but the rate we're growing as a platform can give you some hope to achieve your dreams, or at least finance a part of your project. If you come up with half of the money or a quarter, getting a better deal from the bank becomes a reality.
Just look at the opportunities we have here. #projectblank airdrop is coming and the project itself is a game changer, it's going to boost our earnings and value of the token.
So there's hope I believe, if you accumulate and hold.

I am still struggling to realize a dream of owning a home and being able to live in the future through my sources of income.
Through cryptocurrencies, this path can be much shorter to achieve our goals.

It's good to have something physical too, selling all of one's BTC is not a good choice but one can still sell few to get something doing, so that one won't be putting all eggs in one basket and all risk in one direction

Active rewards goals are kind of stupid as you do not control them. I always like to check the curation rewards and see how nicely I am increasing them with time. I will be happy if I am able to touch $100 a day in curation rewards even active + passive make $100 is also ultra good.

It is a good goal, it would be incredible to be able to earn $100 just for curation rewards.
For me they are still numbers that I can say are far from my reality, but I am happy with what I gain today even though I can improve.
The dollar here in Brazil made the real currency lose its purchasing power. Nowadays with R$150 you will go shopping and come back badly with 4 or 5 bags. I hope that my country's economy will improve, but fortunately we have cryptocurrencies so we won't be held hostage to economic problems here.

I collect my rewards but dont focus upon them in terms of the monetary aspect to it. I just keep doing, it is action that brings the rewards.
As for investing, I follow what projects I can and keep adding to it. I dont want to spread myself across a ton of stuff, gets too hard to manage.
For now, I am keeping all Hive and Leo I earn. Too many airdrops coming to change with that.
