This last Thursday i had another productive discussion with the team from "Ignite Visibility". We expanded a bit more on email marketing, influencer marketing and PR. SEO has been dropped from the proposal. They will also be sending notes to help improve the onboarding potential for HIVE.io. The site needs an update to more clearly convey what HIVE is and offer a clear choice for potential dapp users as well.
Their next proposal (hopefully the final) will be here probably this coming week. One of their company founders has used STEEM in the past and specifically asked to join the call due to personal interest in HIVE, which is a great bonus to us. Their team really seems interested in working with HIVE and looking at the potential financial structure i think i could manage to keep the cost for all essential services we need, hopefully, around 500 HBD a day.
Anything between 500HBD and 750HBD a day i consider a bargain. That would include email marketing (all materials provided by them), PR for HIVE, Influencer marketing, ads. The last 3 are adjustable based on our budget.
The focus will be equally on investors and users. Focus on decentralized governance and staking rewards for investors on the financial side of things. The ideological being freedom of speech, financial autonomy. We all know the pitch by now.
The current Hive whitepaper will be used as a point of reference in the creation of promotional materials.
The feedback so far from the community has been really helpful.

750$ sounds good! And it's also cool they know steem, is a huge edge against average marketer.
HIVE.io yes I agree, it needs an update like a pro landing page. I would recommend peaked + hive.blog
Also happy no waste on SEO and all funds go directly into real marketing.
IMO the proposal for that should be building a scaling way. Like 3 proposals.
Stage 1: 750$ a day
Stage 2: 500$ a day for scaling
Stage 3: 500$ a day for scaling
About the influencer, I would choose Investor/ Money content + split testing.
Is there also a plan for guest posts on news sites like Forbes? Because this gives always good attention :)
If the first one works well, we can increase the budget on a higher scale. Or we can add the other proposals later, but I think to ride the attention wave, we should include them from the start so everyone knows, we can scale marketing :)

Exactly. They have pro web designers and from our talk i understood its possible they help update the site for free if the proposal passes.
Yes, i believe he created the site. Most of the commits on Gitlab are his.
That will fall under PR. It was a big part of the discussion.
We will probably be getting a list of potential influencers based on focus. Choosing which to use is something id maybe like to leave the community to vote on.
Yes. My goal right now is to keep the cost at a reasonable level. If the investment pays of and we get a decent return on our investment i dont see an issue in increasing the budget. But again, that is something the community will decide.

Well sure.. that is absolutely the case.
Thats why im not only doing this proposal to do something none of the "big guns" did in 5 years, many of them busy circle jerking and leeching Steem.
Im also doing it as a dare, im daring them not to vote this. A proposal by someone that criticized their impotence for years, their politicizing, their slack, telegram groups and teams, their "foundations".
All of it a big joke meant to create an appearance that they are doing something.
I took this up 2 months ago. Ill bring mainstream level marketing to Hive. Lets see who decides to ignore it.

I lived in US for a couple years. I hope that will help a bit in that geocentric fund distribution you talk of. haha
There was a Hive proposal awhile back to buy us an ad on Brave, but it didn'tget enough support. If that's not part of the marketing ferm's proposal, I think it would be a good idea to mention it. Brave users are a good audience to target.
This proposal will be more expansive than the brave proposal. It will cover most aspects of marketing. Ads, email marketing, PR and influencer marketing.

Fully agree that HIVE needs a better onboarding process. I found that through LeoFinance and already wrote up a full 8 day email series and onboarding that trains people into Leo and Hive.
