The 12-month National home price index increased again in the United States. According to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller National Home Price Index, the 12-month increase in November 2022 was 7.69% compared to the one reported for October 2022 which was 9.24%.

The 7.69% actually represents a deceleration in the home price increase. Now it is similar to the inflation rate, so in real terms, the home prices have essentially become stagnant in 1 year.

The index in November 2022 was 297.29. October 2022's index was 298.99, so the month to month change was -0.57%. In November 2021, the index was 276.07

FED is announcing rate today. The expected is 0.25% which will push mortgages a little higher. However, the real key is what Powell will say after the meeting. If he indicates that FED will be raising rates past September, then both stocks and crypto may take a short term dive, especially after the last 45 days of bullish behavior. !pizza
