News: September 18, 2022. Coffee Supply Decreasing Due to Decreased Production in Brazil and Colombia

Coffee is another item with supply issues. Two of the main suppliers of arabica coffee, Brazil and Colombia, are having decreased production due to a climate phenomenon called La Niña. This phenomenon causes increased rains, which damage coffee crops.

Brazil is the first arabica coffee producer and Colombia is the second one. Yields are expected to decline in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Vietnam.

Currently, the demand for coffee is worldwide. If its production decreases, there will be some problem. Nice report.
