The price of Ethereum is sinking again but the transactions in Ethereum blockchain hit a new record high.
At 17 of September, the number of daily trades went to 1.406.000 (Source Etherscan)
This is a record high for the Ethereum blockchain.
The last record was about 1.350.000 happening at January 4, 2018.
DEFI
The record comes out of the blast of Defi applications.
At 2020 we have a massive explosion inf Defi with the total worth of this decentralized apps coming up to 9 billion (August 2020)
Tons of Defi tokens are getting more and more popular in Binance or OKEx.
ETHEREUM Commissions & Fees
All this has, as a result, Ethereum miners earning 500.000 in fees / per hour on September 1, and transaction fees went up to 1 million / per hour on Sept 18.
