A Chinese photo retouching app just got into the Bitcoin game! The app, called Meitu, traded in Hong Kong, has announced it purchased $40 million worth-of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Today, the firm announced the purchase of 15,000 ETH and 379.12 BTC! Their average cost was $22.1 million and $17.9 million, respectively!
Meitu is one of the most popular mobile apps in China and has a market cap of $1.5 billion (USD.) Last year, they reported to have $384 million in liquid assets, and 295 million monthly active users.
Meitu is just one of the latest corporate players to jump into Bitcoin, and surely, more will follow!
