In the future it will probably be just a touch pad selection menu with the food popping out of the table.
People are odd, they perceive other people as the cause to their issues. If governments raised taxes to 90% people would still kick the poor and the workers for taking to much.
No one ever looks up they always look down, a big part is that it is rooted in people wanting and believing they will be the up if they work hard enough. So once they get there they don't want to lose the perks.
Unfortunately life don't work that way for the 99% of people.
