I don't find what makes a person interested in classical music, opera is just a ritual and tradition doesn't offer additional useful things, words must be understandable
Maybe loud sounds and clamor are what make it so valuable and reputable even the decor and music attract more people.

The words are meaningful, if you speak the language they are in. :)

Classical music is complex and layered with multiple concepts, which is why so many people find it hard to connect with. It also requires imagination to visualize the scene, because it isn't spelled out in the words, which again make it far less relatable for younger generations, who seem to need to be told what to think and feel, otherwise they are lost.
