So. A thing happened.
A few years ago this crazy internet guy convinced me to by some magic cards.
He made some big promises about wealth and riches if I handed over some silver.
Then strangely enough they all went up in prize and did what he said they would.
He was a good wizard.
Then he came back and said that because i gave some silver the first time that i could have a years worth of magic beans.
That's a very good wizard. Strange but generous.
Now he is after coming back again. he said that if I held onto those beans and didn't sell them that he would give me a new shiny present. These wouldn't be magic but they would become a new game that we could take part in and give back all that silver form years ago.
That buying those first few magic cards all those years ago would open up even more wealth and entertainment.
Where else would you get this other than Hive and crypto?
Not only have we had a great run with splinterlands over the past couple of years before they gave a year long SPS airdrop to their community. Now they are expanding into a new sports platform and have decided to airdrop the tokens for this platform back to their SPS holders who already got all of these for free from the company.
I for one am very excited about the new splinterlands sports platform.
Their first game is going to be "Genesis League Soccer."
And yes, I also call it soccer because we have real football over here. But aside from that it's a huge market and the number one sport in the world.
The game itself sounds like splinterlands with players cards instead of monsters but i'm hoping for the full championship manager experience with nft players.
- Leagues.
- Transfer markets.
- Finances.
- Tournaments.
- Seasons.
All on super steroids from being created on the hive blockchain with real monetary value behind it.
But wait. There's more.
If you read the latest town hall summary you will see that this is only the first of many games that the team will hopefully build out.
The plan is to build a set of tools that will allow other teams to build on hive as well and to expand this new platform.
Not only that but from partnering up with Major league soccer they have opened up a whole set of opportunities withing the American sporting world as the players rights are all owned by the one group.
Deal was made through the OneTeam organization
Manage player associations through NFL, MLB, WNBA, Rugby, etc...
This soccer platform is only the first stepping stone for growing into other platforms and leagues
And were all getting a free ticket to the show.
When this gets moving you can bet that SPS is going to start feeling the pressure as people stop selling and outside interest wants a piece of the action.

What the fuck? This is completely new to me. Awesome news. I am on vacation now, and only have access through Ecency. I need to check this out when I come back, immediately
I'm getting more into it now that I'm learning more about how to battle in bronze. I'm Fomoing for Water cards but they are just a tad expensive so I'm renting. Im also a little confused about DEC. I need it to rent cards but not sure If I want to buy that, buy hive or buy SPS.

I think it's nice to get but I honestly don't know if I will bother playing the new game. I also wonder if the game will be launched directly on Hive because I know they are working together with other companies.

moon nah but it does have increasing value being added to it. I suspect the overall price to climb for the next two weeks because of what's slated to be released. However after that it most likely will start sinking unless there's more announcements and things going on with it. Lands still a bit too far away.
