It's a long time coming but I finally did it. I have moved away from my old business and launched a new one.
For more than ten years I worked in the Excel field and although I completely loved it, once I found blockchain, it was all I could really think about. For the last 5 years, I have absorbed everything I could. And I have explored so many blockchain ecosystems, trying my hand at everything to stay involved and continue learning. This is such an exciting field, who wouldn't want to be involved.
But I found it hard to find my place in the blockchain space. I am not a trader, although I do dabble. But having tried it, I'd consider myself way too emotional to trade on short time frames and make it a daily 'job'.
I am also not a developer, although when I look at the job market in the blockchain space for developers it makes me wonder why I didn't learn to code 5 years ago. But hay, coding ain't for everyone!
Over the last year, I have been running a meetup and I have found many in the community are in the same position. They are not traders, or developers and struggle to find a meaningful way to get involved. A way to bring their skills from traditional business to blockchain.
But blockchains are also lacking this business knowledge that non-devs can bring. 5 years ago, blockchains didn't seem to care about this and at the time, I didn't understand why.
Now I do.
The blockchains and solutions were still heavily under construction, and many still are. But those that have progressed the most are now struggling to find a Web3 literate community of innovators, entrepreneurs, professionals, and end-users ready to navigate, build on and champion the new economy and a decentralized future.
And so I introduce ABlockOfCrypto
Our Mission
It is our mission to accelerate the adoption of Web3, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrency Technology.
Our Aim
By providing quality education, we aim to create a Web3 literate community of innovators, entrepreneurs, professionals, and end-users ready to navigate, build on and champion the new economy and a decentralized future.

Thank you, fingers are crossed it all works out, the Excel was going well so I have just walked away from a solid business.
I think this is an opportunity for everyone to learn from and have a good knowledge about crypto, I'll visit the website to learn more about it.

Indeed it is a big step, but sure nothing ventured nothing gained, although walking away from the Excel club which has been doing well, means I do have a lot to lose
