Weekly WenSoon (Leofinance AMA) Recap - 10/11/2022

in LeoFinance2 years ago

Boom! What a week it has been in the LeoFinance ecosytem. More progress and some almost new announcements to have an impact on the UI of leofinance on a whole!

And the Burn goes on...

Cub being burned continues to grow, with ebbs and flows as the simple moving average comes into play with the price of cub bumping up from 2 cents to 2.5 cents.

Roughly 300K cub was burned last month and that number is expected to be surpassed this month.

The burn related liquidity pools are around $650K TVL now and ideally still growing. TVL has grown each month thus far.

Up and to the right is a beautiful thing

Oh and there was a Hive Hardfork

What is cool about the bhive and phive pools is that they were never offline as opposed to CEXES where you'd of had outages.

In other news, the hard fork went super smooth and thus far without a hitch.

It will be interesting to see how things play out with resource credits now more expensive for custom jsons and such.

This post has the recap of all things in the fork: https://hive.blog/hive/@hiveio/the-evolution-of-hive-hardfork-26

Speaking of resouce credits....

The leofinance back end wants to make sure users never have an issue from the UI side. Thus, the system will read the resource credits to see if they are low on RCs and if so they will delegate some RCs to that account so the user can keep on interacting on the UI and thus on chain.

Pretty freaking cool if you ask me.

LeoFinance UI Redesign Contest - 20K LEO Up for Grabs!

The leofinance def team is ready to update the UI to whatever extent we like now that threads is up and running like a champ.

So what better than get the communities input on what they want.

Thus the redesign contests. There is up to 20K leo up for grabs, maybe you can win some of it or all of it. For each design feature update you get selected you win a portion of the pie.

Send redesigns for all aspects of the site or just specific things like the homepage or header. It is up to you.

Part of this endeavor is for the devs to jump in a do code rewrites, so the redesign gives them the opportunity to update UI and clean up code as needed.

For all the details see the official announcement below.

New Leofinance Shows Coming Online

Every Wednesday @anomadsoul is going to host the Crypto Corner which brings on guests that are building projects on HIVE.

Thursdays will be a call for projects and initiatives that are outside the HIVE blockchain.

Either way MOAR content from the leofinance ecosystem is coming in!

General Crypto Talk

Bitcoin is in snooze fest and continues to ride the 19-20K support. Many are just thinking we don't start seeing a bull market until we approach the next halving which is quite a ways away.

Who knows if that is the case. I think the economy and the equity markets still have a lot of being on the price of bitcoin.

Elsewhere @Khaleelkazi has been stacking RUNE in regard to crypto outside the leo ecosystem. Bitcoin stacking continues to be on autopilot. I have personally added small bags of each and am hoping for even lower prices to buy.

The next bull market isn't coming in the next few months so why not be able to get more coin at lower price, am I right?

NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE ;-)

See ya'll next week.

Stacking Bitcoin is definitely a good idea. And I look forward to the new Leofinance UI. It’s been such a huge change from Steemleo to Leofinance. I think Khal was right when he said it’s been a continuous technology upgrade and new grades as he and his team keep making new stuff, while upgrading the old stuff. So soon it’s all good stuff. :)
