G'Day everyone.
I have been investing more of my time in crypto lately and see the significant benefits of the Leo Backed Investments (LBI) token and want to become more involved in some way.
That is why I have decided to nominate for a membership position on the LBI-GOV team.
I have been posting and engaging on Steem, and now Hive, since mid-2017. A quick scan through my previous posts you will see that I have been very active in many different communities on Steem and now HIVE. I have invested and been a part of the Splinterlands (Steemmonsters) community since it's inception. As an Australian, I was a founding member of the #TeamAustralia community and have been involved with the #silvergoldstackers community as well. I invested in LEO way back when it began as SteemLEO and have been actively involved in the LEO community, more often recently.
I am involved in various aspects of crypto, but also have a 'day-job' that involves significant management and governance in a government entity. I believe these skills could be of benefit to the Lbi-Gov team.
I believe that I would bring the stability, ethical-decision making and understanding of governance mechanisms needed for the first term of the LBI token governance team.
After seeing that there have been no nominations yet, I am concerned that the governance side of things may not get off the ground for this project. This is another reason why I am nominating for this position.
The benefits of getting this governance team off the ground is not one of monetary value, but one of ensuring this project and tokens success.
So that is my nomination. I will do my best to ensure that the governance side of this project gets a fantastic start for the future success of LBI.

Nice post! I too have noticed that there haven't been any nominations yet and that is a little concerning for me. I wrote a post today about how I am on the fence about throwing my hat in the ring. I am happy to see that someone finally has! Good luck to you!

I have my 9-5 which is more like 7-6 plus I run my own side business. On top of that I trade for a few hours a day and I my redoing my basement at the moment.
Oh wow, yeah, I guess that is a lot to handle. I work from about 6 to 3:30 or 4 and then I do some side work occasionally as well. I have a couple of businesses who are doing some computer upgrades that I am going to have to carve out some time to help them migrate.
