We're coming to the end of the COIVD crises! We're coming into an inflection point. A financial crisis is looming.
The markets are so imbalanced with the real economy... the real estate market, the stock market... it's totally insane!
We had a contraction in GDP, yet the stock market and the real estate market soared during the pandemic. As businesses are actually having fewer sales and fewer profits... fewer renters ...but prices soared 14% on real estate. Crazy stuff!
We have these multiple bubbles everywhere, and the biggest of all - the debt bubble- when they pop, people will seek safe-havens.
Well, if you want to profit from what is happening and if you want the system to have less control over you, go buy the physical metal.
Me, I will just save!
If you want to get ahead and be happy, you can do three things: You can save, you can invest consistently, and avoid lifestyle escalation. This alone will not make you happy, but it will surely expand your wealth and reduce your financial stress.
Investing consistency does not mean buying gold and silver because somebody here or on YouTube told you that it is going to the moon tomorrow. Silver and gold are a lot more like savings.
Living below your means.
For me personally, the hardest thing to do is to live below my means.
Your expectation rise as you make more money. You make more, you want more. There is such as thing as "hedonic adaptation". It basically states that you have a baseline of happiness and as you get more money and things, the quick spike of happiness wears off. It applies to the purchases you make, like the watch you purchase or the car you bought... the excitement wears off, and you want something new again!
Save, invest, and live below your means. These three things work together. If you don't live below your means, you can't save and you can't invest.
And if you want to get ahead and feel comfortable in retirement, you need to do those things.Gold and silver are a great way to save.

My local Real estate market is Bizarre and should in a massive decline and yet it's up 8%. The local market Rental rates for 1 or 2 bedroom suites are in Canada's top 20 highest.
Sure, the Real Estate board, all the Municipal tax authorities, and the banks that hold underwater mortgages don't like that on their balance sheets.
Living below our means is a lost art Sis.

The economic situation just doesn't match anywhere. All these all time new highs while half of the economy is shut down. With the unemployment situation so bad, I can only see how people are taking money out of the retirement accounts and taking debt. They think the economy is good based on interest rates going up but these people who took out debt will be crushed. Personally I think we should be in a deflationary environment and the demand for gold/silver should mean higher prices despite the deflation.
Gold, silver and crypto looks like good investments compared to many of the alternatives out there. Either way, the economic indicators can only stay apart for so long before they work properly and our market will be hit by reality.

Yes, you can also participate by investing into stocks like MARA and RIOT since they are Bitcoin mining companies. To some extent, Tesla and ARK also has some exposure to cryptos if you invest.

Well, I don’t think that I could live any lower then what I’m currently at. The pandemic ate up every bit of my oh shit money and then some. No work at all for 7 months didn’t stop the bills from coming in........

This world in which we live revolves around materialism. Just look at any commercial; you NEED the product so you will look like, feel like, or be like the person in it who looks to be having the time of his/her life! If you run out and but whatever 'it' is, you will be fulfilled! NOT so! Simplification of lifestyle and living below your means really makes more sense. We need to pay more attention to our blessings and not to our things.

I found that asking myself the question helpful: "do you absolutely need this?"
Many times the answer is "No".
I have less exposure to commercials by watching Netflix!

I'm so sick of these fake markets, days like today make no sense at all. Sometimes I think I should pull everything out and buy more metals to put in the stack and stop watching it all.
