Hugh Laurie is voicing Dumbledore in the new Harry Potter audiobooks and he revealed his unusual inspiration was Stephen Fry who did the UK audiobooks years ago, Laurie said Frys voice was still ringing in his ears and he had to guard against doing an impression of him because some of Frys inflections were so perfect, meanwhile John Lithgow is playing Dumbledore in the HBO series reboot and he is approaching 80 years old which he called a wonderful winding down role, having two different Dumbledores at the same time is interesting because fans will definitely compare them, Laurie doing audiobooks and Lithgow doing the series means we get different interpretations of the character which could be cool or confusing depending on how you look at it, Read More in ➡️ #linkincomments
