HIVE is back, and it is my friend, with serious power!
Yesterdays spike was more than a light in the bitter abyss of second page token price feeds, it was more like a defibrillator on full power shocking HIVE to another level not seen for a long time.
So great, there is the spike, price coming down again, we have all seen its still alive, and that's it?
No.. there is indeed more. Similar to a stock that rises to new highs and using its high market cap to offer new shares via a capital increase, putting additional cash on its balance sheet and therefor bettering its options and prospects as a company - HIVE hodlers may use the spike to sell a bit of their holdings to put cash into the market again @ the next price correction.
While of course a sellers strike or hodl-forever attitude might propel HIVE mooning already tomorrow this is not very likely. Its more likely bees might sell some of their most beloved HIVE into the spike and park the received cash for another price dip. If this dip comes or not doesn't really matter - its more the fact that there will be fresh cash sitting on the sidelines ready to jump in. And this will give the HIVE price action / chart a lot of support. Paired with general outsider's interest into such price developments per se, we really might be in for a new ride like never before.
So yes, those spikes and high volatility look ugly.. but at the end its better to have that action than non.. and by generating cash for long time hodlers this could have a more sustained impact than you would guess from first thought.

It might be the storm ahead of the storm.
I have a feeling, with a couple of the new developments on tap, I guess over the next month, we could see an influx of people to the ecosystem. This will put more buying pressure on the token, which will set us on another path as compared to where we have been.

It would be a major step forward to be able to have a community to point to. We need to get a case study going.

it would be a tripple whammy..
1.) Getting more users to HIVE and LEO
2.) The next pump will bring media attention to HIVE (as it did with reddit)
3.) That financial community has deep pockets... very likely they will buy into their own platform
