Hello dear, Splinterlands mate, after the official announcement of the decreasing the kinds of official stuff by around 45% of the Splinterlands company,post link; the whole economy of the game is in collapsing way, especially the value of the card with the other game assets such as PLOTs are decreasing. Many people are trying to exit and there is ongoing anxiety about the future of the most successful BLOCKCHAIN GAME! I can't think of such an exit while my card's value has lost more than $500 bucks which is more than 25% of the previous value together with $2200 recently! But I am not stopping playing the game at all. Though the DEC has already shown pumping hard and started decreasing again and the price of the packs is also decreasing as a result of the price of the mass concern about the game.

In this post, I am trying to find out why the situation is triggering a worse situation in the sphere. I am going to discuss the situation from a practical perspective as such occasional things are common for any company like Splinterlands! Also, I will try to get the legit reason for the increasing tension among the players!

The overall TRUST is being destroyed!

This is one of the most concerning issues for any project in recent days despite age or motto. The collapse of the LUNA initiated the misunderstanding and now the collapse of FTX has broken the mass trust in the crypto sphere. And people are not believing any project completely. As a result, people are just liquidating their assets in their own hands from many projects!

At this crucial moment, Splinterlands announced their problems with maintaining their cost for their official stuffs but a few days ago they have arranged the Splinterfest gorgeously just like evolving the company to the next level! But within a short period of time, they are doing the such thing that hurts the general audience as in recent days they have made a huge collection through some Promo cards and through the selling of packs of other games! So, people have started raising their questions about the vulnerability going on in the Splinterlands economy!

Splinterlands is already the survivor of the last crypto winter!

Another logical claim is that Splinterlands started it's journey in the crypto winter and passed through the immense bull cycle last year by making a ton of money to run the projects efficiently to bring it to the ultimate success. And how within a year they are showing their weakness in such a period when the crypto sphere is suffering from the TRUST perspective of the general people! And that is triggering the accumulation of mass concern among the community which is not good, especially at this crucial moment of the total crypto market while so many bad things are spreading very fast. Also, the impact on the value on SPS is noticeable this week. The graph shows a major drop due to the announcement.

Crypto sphere's turbulence

The current crypto space is frequently shaken by so many occurrences which have started from the fall of the LUNA earlier and the mega collapse of FTX in recent days! Especially the FTX has ruined so many projects already which have a close connection with that. Even one of the biggest crypto lending platforms Genesis is suffering after the blockFi platform. In such crucial moment, the announcement from the Splinterlands company has very bad impact on the community. Even when I have seen my cards are dropped significantly, I can realize how strongly the situation has make the panic in the community! Look at my cards value which has lost almost $300 just after the announcement this is really INSANE for the community! The recent booming movement is completely destroyed with such a panic announcement!

How the situation can be handled?

This is the million-dollar question at the moment as the announcement has already done its impact by decreasing the assets' value by 15-20% which can not be restored instantly! But I can point out some positive perspectives with the announcement to make you more confident about Splinterlands! these are my personal thoughts as I am not a person with the Splinterlands team but I am one of the believers on this project and a crypto enthusiast for the last 5 years!

The Splinterlands team's honesty is understandable!
This is the most positive thing that I can understand from their announcement as they can easily skip these internal issues with the Company. But they have their promise to make Splinterlands into such a game driven by the community, and so they wanted to share this with the community. And I appreciate such transparency and this will make the community stronger in the long run!And I also think they didn't realize the underlying risk of the announcement otherwise they should announce it later for the overall situation to be in their comfort zone!

Focused on their promises

There are few projects which are conscious about their promises which they recall during such situations with some negative impactful announcements but Splinterlands has clearly mentioned what they have promised in their roadmaps! I appreciate such liability so that the community can clearly understand and they can free from unnecessary panic.

Going forward, the Splinterlands team will be 100% focused on one thing - delivering on our promises to the community. There will be no new games or presales for the foreseeable future. Despite having a smaller team, we believe we can be much more efficient by being laser-focused on delivering value to the community - our most important asset.

They have strongly focused on their motto to reiterate the importance of the roadmaps with the overall development of the WEB3.0 projects like Splinterlands. And they have also told that they are not going to undergo any new games until the situation becomes favorable. I think this list is more than to expect from the Splinterlands in the coming year for the sustainability-

Though I expect the mobile app development and the development in UI such as the marketplace and more convenient renting services which are also necessary for the overall gaming experience, these will be revised with the listed ones in parallel.

The team's practical realization on the announcement!
This is very important a established project like Splinterland to realize what they are going to tell their community and what can be the consequences on the announcement. And, in this case, Splinterlands team have realized the impact on the community to the point and they have mentioned it in their post with reiterating the fact that the games assets are completely belongs to the community so the community members itself will take the decision what they want to do with their assets!

Asset ownership creates a much closer connection between the company and customers, and even customers to other customers. We are all in this together and we're going to work together to get through it. Some people may see this as a reason to sell their assets and move on. As much as we hate to see anyone go, we also celebrate the fact that they owned assets that they are free to sell when they wish. For everyone else, we believe this marks a new beginning for Splinterlands. With these changes, we have positioned the organization to ride out a long and protracted bear market and/or global recession while at the same time continuing to build out our products and delivering value for our community.

There is no accusation of illicit with Splinterlands

The last inspiring matter about the Splinterland that I want to share as positivity is the loyal team who have never been accused of any wrongdoings with the game assets or the funds of the Splinterlands company which has become a major concern in recent times after the falling tragedy of the FTX exchange! Though some people arises some questions about bot farming which is an illegal earning mechanism by selling the Spellbook according to many people which I consciously refute by the continuous efforts and revision on the reward system to make it player-friendly but not bot friendly. As it is a challenge to understand between the bot and players like I have used the free bot service also which is fair in my sense as bots can't keep the good winning ratio as people can in higher leagues as you cant afford all the max out version of cards as bots doesn't know how to replace a good and expensive card with a cheap card!

My conclusions and expectations from the Splinterlands

There is no way to deny the practical situation of the current market situation and the existing issues in the crypto sphere. So, the expectation should be in accordance with the situation and the decision taken to handle a hard time is a necessary step by Splinterlands which is clear in their announcement but there are always some weak hands, newly invested people without the experience of the prior devastating crypto crash, and the bitter experience of scamming projects with illicit doing by the projects team members and so one. And the situation is emerging in a wrong way only for these groups of people and I feel the necessity to make them aware of the practical issues that are common in the crypto sphere.

Finally, in this situation, I expect from the company the following things which will spread positivity among the community-

Keep the weekly AMA in a regular form as the more interaction with the community the more positive synergy will grow in the community!
Making some content to make the new players conscious of how the cryptos are prone to extreme volatility and how devastating the crash can be in extreme fear worldwide!
The regular update should be released whether the duration of publication is extended but it is necessary!
Community should speak as much as possible with the community to grow up the community in this crucial moment!
Some secrets should be released at an appropriate time that can be tolerable by the community for avoiding unwanted panic among the community!

I ca realize it brother, the recent crash could be avoided which I can't justify but I am still here as we can't go against the market😭. They could avoid such announcement by making it private. As for the recent card matket, I wanted to sell some cards in loss but I dare not to do that but planning to see the end as I always invest what I can lose forever. I can feel when I bought some Oshanns at 45 bucks and now less than 2! It is very difficult to recover such damage but I blv in Hive as you and in Hive splinterlands is a majore driving wheel, so there is always the expectation to see some good days in future! I have also a PLOT which has lost 75% of It's value already but, it’s time yo accumulate but the existing players like you and me are in short hand already. And the recent tragedies are making the situation more difficult to enter into!
I think the burning CL packs and the interval before the Rebellion set can be enlarged to let the total game economy more stable.
I really appreciate your passion for Splinterlands and most importantly on Hive! I feel proud to be here as I have selected Hive as my past DOGE which I bought during 2018 but could hold due to some economic crisis, but for Hive I am all in all, and going to moon definitely in the next cycle and it will cover all of my loss in Splinterlands!

You can put your cards for renting if you are not playing too much, just igore the price, these are assets and definitely price will o up, as crypto winter sucks and it’s normal!
