How are you going to get him on Hive? You think he is going to post 1,000 word articles?
What needs to happen is someone needs to create a community AND an application (front end) catering to that target market. Ideally, over time, the community would develop a few front ends feeding the same data to resist being taken down.
This holds for any target market. Trying to sweep everyone to Hive with the idea that Hive is something that will want is misguided in my opinion. That is why the layer 2 is so important.
He can post any length post he wants, there is no minimum word count.
And sure you are correct, in a perfect world. Is this a perfect world? No it is not. The opportunity is there now, so either you strike while the opportunity is there or you likely miss it forever. There is a good chance the opportunity will not be there by the time what you are suggesting is ready.
