Leofinance Engagement: Top 100

We are doing our best to make sure that engagement remains high on Leofinance. This is a worthwhile proposition and it is terrific to see a lot of new people involved.

Of course, it is helpful that @khaleelkazi threw his hat in the commenting ring and decided to take on the entire Leofinance community. He is a man who puts his LEO where his keyboard is.

Who does not like getting those sweet LEOs from Khal? I think we all can agree that it provides a bit more motivation.

In the end, it is all in good fun. Yet it does serve a very useful purpose.

To start, we need to keep engagement high since newer people are continually coming to the site. Having a bunch of articles with no activity is not to anyone's benefit. Hence, the more we add to posts, the better the experience for all.

At the same time, comments do add to the article, helping the SEO. There are a number of people focused upon this area, something that we all need to participate in. Properly formatting links in the comment section, as an example, is essential.

The goal, naturally, is to drive more traffic to Leofinance. This will benefit all who are staking LEO in the form of Leo Power when the ad revenue program is put into effect. After all, who does not want to increase the amount of Leo Power they have?

New Commenting Focus

We need to get some article really strong. This is done through have good comment flow taking place. Fortunately, we see this with a number of articles, often ones on the front page.

However, we should not limit it to just these. Therefore, I pondered what is a good number to aim for with comments in articles? How can we really enhance the activity in some of them?

With these questions in mind, it dawned on me that an impressive level is 100 comments. If you notice, some of the best articles end up with triple digit comments. Why does that happen?

To start, the author tends to respond to those who take the time to drop comments in the article. This is crucial and should be the default of all who are posting content.

Another thing is "conversations" tend to happen. People leave more than one comment in the article when they are responded to. This helps to jumpstart the engagement, often with others stepping in. This is how we have some robust information shared.

Therefore, we need to turn the attention to those articles that have the ability to get a lot of commenting going. At the same time, each of us has to search out those where commenting started and do our part to add to it.

It is a slight shift in focus although we might want to frame it as an addition. There are plenty of articles that we see get 15-20 comments. With a little effort, we could easily triple that if half a dozen people get involved. After that, more can pile in.

Leofinance Top 100

We should seek to top 100 comments in as many Leofinance articles as possible. How we quantify this is hard to guess. However, it is something that we should take aim at.

Is it possible to get the @leo.stats post each week to include this? I do not know the difficult in pulling this information.

An idea might be to post the articles in @leomarkettalk throughout the day. As an article is starting to gain some comment flow, drop the link in there. People can check in throughout the day and click over.

This might seem like a lot to achieve but I know it is possible. Personally, I had article that ended up with a couple hundred comments. We also saw @leofinance articles do the same so we know it is possible.

We just need to stretch the number of articles this is happening to.

Besides, if we undertake this challenge, and miss by a degree, what happens? An article "only" gets 50 comments?

That is still a huge step forward.

Finally, this could be a great way to bring attention to new authors. Dropping comments in their articles could motivate them. It is helpful it we tag them by name in the article.

Just something I was mulling the last few days.

What does everyone think about this? Let me know in the comment section.

Hello!
Comments on posts are so important. One thing that can be a bit frustrating when some start on Hive is precisely the lack of comments. I may not get big rewards but if the post gets comments I feel like I'm doing well, that someone is reading me.

But 100 comments per post is a pretty high target, I'm not saying it can't be achieved. I usually reply to everyone who comments and give answers and I'm happy when I have an average of 50 comments, either here or in Hive.

It's also frustrating when you take the time to make a meaningful comment and the author of the post ignores it. Lately, no matter how much I like an article, if I see that it's an author who doesn't engage, I prefer to pass without commenting ;)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

All you say is true. You touch upon a few points:

  • Authors need to comment on people engaging in their articles. If not, there should be an adjustment in rewards (something to think about).

  • Commenting on Comments is vital.

  • We have to comment wherever we can.

As a new person, start commenting in many different places and you will start to stand out. Do it consistently and in large number.

This is a great start.

For me, it is vital to interact with other users in order to progress and build up my account. It's also what makes sense for it to be a social network after all.

I haven't been on Leofinance for long, and don't post here as often as I do on other topics. But one thing I like here is precisely the level of engagement, it seems that people are more willing to comment and interact than on other sites in the Hive. And that's good and something to use in favor of promoting Leofinance.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is great that you post on other topics. Not everyone (nor everything) is geared for Leofinance.

However, since we are all involved in cryptocurrency, the ability to comment on it is possible. This is how we enhance our knowledge.

And yes you will grow your following which will translate into your wallet over time.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I currently use commenting to not only add to a topic, but to strengthen my writing skills. It's difficult for me to write as I'm way more comfortable coding vs prose. But I know with practice, it'll help when I go to write articles.

I love this motive!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I love this as well! Most people think that the only way to add value to the platform and to themselves is to write 2,000 word blog posts.

In reality, engagement in the platform is just as valuable. Long-form content is great but it isn’t the only way to add value to LeoFinance and grow the platform and your skills

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Engagement is actually more important than most posts. From what I see, most of the latter are not very good. I applaud people for trying but I dont think the effort is there for the most part. People putting up 250 word posts are not trying really hard.

But comments anyone can do. It required dedication but the results are much larger.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Appreciate the positive vibes. Overcoming this indescribable anxious feeling when I go to write is a baffling challenge and this helps. I'm patient too though.. it's a journey.

A terrific approach. I love to see people enhancing their skills.

I am still trying to master Markdown so I feel your pain. LOL

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Mastering any computer language, including style coding, gets addictive at some point I've found.

I have enough addictions as it is. Cant be adding more. I will never sleep.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You are right.

Comments does help improve ones' writing skill with and it becomes more fun with time.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I've personally learnt a lot from the comments section of a post. That's where many minds are poured on the same subject and you see diverse views.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I can say the same for myself.

There's no better way to get the best out of HIVE than engagement.

Reading comments and taking part in the conversation helps a great deal to have a deep understanding om what's being discussed.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes indeed, time is the key.. and patience.

That’s great to hear, for me, it helps with learning English. The more I write and comment I learn to write better English.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It helps me with learning English too.

The sad part is that English is my only language.

Oh well.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hahaha it’s my fourth spoken language out of 5 in order of learning.

I learned English via the tv, music and people started in 2011. Didn’t have it back in the days in school. So I learned it the parrot fashion way. Until I started to write here in Hive, I realised I wrote words how I thought they should be. By sounds… so my husband had to proofread and correct a lot in the beginning. As I progress that is getting less and less. (He is not reading comments just my posts.)

Words like heart and heard, I didn’t realise which one was what as my pronunciation is different hahaha they sound the same.

Or build and built, to and too etc.
getting there eventually. 😎

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I found porn and Mafia movies a great way to learn a language.

I cant ask where the bathroom is but I can cuss very well.

So there is that.

Your comments are terrific. Without you mentioning it, I didnt know you have a problem with English. Your comments seem fine to me.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Lol
I can now say I enjoy nature movies/ documentaries but then you will start to laugh out loud hahaha 🤣 😂🤣😂🤪 as can be the same…
So let’s just leave it by that.

Thanks a lot that’s nice to hear 😎

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Very important for the species to carry on.

Although I wonder if they just do it for fun.

Something to ponder.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You're English, and especially grammar, is better than most native speaking folk I know.

I find it fascinating you are able to learn the way you did. I grew up with a native French speaking father and relatives while sister was multi-lingual. Even with that influence I couldn't speak a lick of French, Spanish.. nothing. But, watch someone code and I learn quickly.

Thank you kindly @nthtv 😎
I love to learn.

My parents were/are Dutch and German.
I was born in France, but we left when I was only 2 years old. Never learned that properly. I can make some sentences but nothing more than you would need on a holiday. After that we ended up in Germany until my 6th so that was basically my first spoken language… then 28 years in The Netherlands where I had to switch etc. moved around a lot, over 30 times hahaha 🤣

They do say children are like sponges in early years, the older you get the harder it is apparently to learn a language.

To bad you didn’t pick it up.
Each their own… like you say.
I did build some websites with html but that’s it.

I'm seeing the push for engagement growing! We have to keep talking about engagement and modeling it ourselves.

Support comments on smaller accounts with a vote or two as well. As small stakeholders have a hard time rewarding comments.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

“ and modeling it ourselves”

^ this times 1000. Leading from the top is huge and I think we need to make a continual push to drive more engagement from the top down. This starts with me, goes into the team, the curators, the ambassadors and the LeoFinance community members who have stepped up into big roles within our community.

It’s time to make this change and make it in a big way!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Loud and clear!

On it and all over it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

So the rest of us are chopped liver?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I love the engagement as well and I have to be a bit more careful voting on comments due to the dust threshold. I guess I don't really have enough HP but it's just a reversion to where I was in the past. Hopefully the dust threshold won't be an issue a year from now.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You still pay out in LEO which has no dust.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

We have to keep talking about engagement and modeling it ourselves.

Without a doubt. It is something that we have to keep at the forefront of people's minds. As you said a number of times, the social aspect is what leads to the financial.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

All articles in the top curator picks have a great chance to reach 100 comments each. Since they have the most visibility. I think all of us can start from there. Also, we can post links on @leomarkettalk so that all the LMT bros can take action and leave a comment.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I agree with this idea. We should load up the trending page with comments. The fact that is where many people lack, to see 100+ comments on an article will really give newer people incentive.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Curation is the lifeblood of this platform. The more robust it becomes, the broader, deeper, and more well known #LeoFinance becomes. With real life taking up most of my time right now, it's certainly something I miss doing. I try to add a few comments here and there but until I get some employees and things get a little more settled, I'm relegated to just getting my votes in and adding comments here and there. Hopefully people realize the opportunity to grow their bags with the prices so low. It's a lot easier to add 1000 LEO when it's at 10 cents than it was even at 20 cents, which is low.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Life happens.

It is why those of us who have the time need to spend it commenting.

Unfortunately, there are so many who spend their time on discord, facebook and twitter. Not saying they dont have their place but the well known names tend to have almost no commenting on chain.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think it is a great idea, I’m always up for long conversations.
But I still see many authors not replying… I go outside of the trending pages here in Leofinance and on hive a lot and find deserving posts. But not all will start a conversation. We need to get people/ authors first to respond. It can’t just be 10 people doing all the work. So to say… 😉

Yes, posting links to posts where conversations are going, into the LMT is a great idea. It help LMT too and we can try to get more engagement going on other posts.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is very true. We have to highlight those who are replying and ignore those who are not. This is where @leomarkettalk can help.

Dropping names of people who are replying is a great help. Perhaps we can send more of the reward pool that way.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Exactly my thought.
Will have a look around and drop some posts when they look like they go somewhere. Comments wise…

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah I dropped a post by whatsup in there last night and it is doing well with posts. We should do more.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes, saw and went over there. It caused definitely more engagement on the post.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I dropped another one in LMT.

Will keep doing it until people complain. Then I will double my efforts.

I know copy/pasting of links.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That’s the spirit 😁
Will have a look!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thank you for raising a great topic.

Having an activity in the article both increases motivation and becomes more educational. In addition, this significantly increases communication and interaction. Commenting on my post or being asked a question makes me very happy and this increases my motivation. It's probably the same for all authors.

It is also very important to reply. I'm commenting on some articles or asking questions and not getting any answers. When this happens a few times, I don't go into that author's articles again. Authors need to pay attention to these.

It is very important for all of us to realize the benefits of interaction.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It is also very important to reply. I'm commenting on some articles or asking questions and not getting any answers.

This is sad but unfortunately it takes place. We need to make it a focus. For those who are not engaging, there needs to be a concerted effort to ignore those people. This means with a lack of upvotes along with not engaging with them. Until they join the party, it is time we shift the focus.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I started ignoring articles by all authors who were uninterested in questions and comments. I don't even look at their next articles. I focus more on posts from people who care and value questions and comments.

Fortunately, these people are not very numerous. Maybe they are not aware of this wonderful party.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is a great idea. I will have to try and start to implement that into my routine.

It is vital to get that idea spreading around.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Awareness will definitely increase when we are united.

Thanks for caring.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

it is very smart to bet a little on #Leo and yes it is to turn it into Leo Power much better still, you are also right to say that since there are many fascinating articles they will surely attract more attention from new followers of the project and we will make ourselves known much more what which of course would lead us to obtain better profits in the near future.

You can earn 100 LEO a week. It just depends on whether or not you are willing to put in that effort to beat Khal.

Don't forget to use the LeoFinance front-end so you don't get the 20% LEO tax and to count on that ranking to beat Khal.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It is possible. You are an example of that. It seems like I give you 100 upvotes a week.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

New users, old users. Hell one topic I am going to touch upon is older articles.

That could help to refresh some things.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

.

Finally, this could be a great way to bring attention to new authors. Dropping comments in their articles could motivate them. It is helpful if we tag them by name in the article.

Yes, I think that's the way to do it. Happy to read too content from new authors.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

New authors can be a great place to spend some time commenting. Their posts need the help too.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I am happy to stumble with some of them in the last few days.

!CTP

Curious as to the launching date of this ad revenue program.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

No word from what I can tell.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

A spread in the engagement would do us all a great deal and help encourage new authors.

Having an average of 50 comments per post on every leofinance post is attainable if we have more keyboard warriors in the game.

With time, I believe it's going to be a norm on leofinance and we can start having 200+ comments when that happens.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

When ProjectBlank gets on the development radar, we'll see how engagement on leofinance would do a 10x in stats.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

No doubt about that.

The question now is wen?

Its going to be a huge blockbuster in the hive ecosystem.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The number you describe are attainable. It will, naturally, require more people being involved. However, we do have the numbers. When you think there are 500 people here each day, that really puts it in perspective.

If each made 10 comments, we would have 5,000 comments on Leofinance articles. That is a large amount.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

And how do we get everyone to be this engaging in comments. During the days of steemleo, there was a bot that upvoted every comment on steemleo interface and gave 0.25 Leo each time. That was small, bit a great incentive for engagement.

Can the leo rewards on Leomarkettalk be pushed into a similar model? I think where there is an incentive, engagement would increase.

Every effort Should be rewarded even if it doesn't rank into the top 100 for the week.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Comments are the hard part and keeping conversations going another challenging part. sometimes I will write and then stare at a response and wonder what to write back.

Planning on picking things up, I came last last time but I am sure I comment a decent amount. Oh well time to pick it up!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

stare at a response and wonder what to write back.

Same here, sometimes because i'm exhausted or can't give a reply at the moment for no real reason as far as I know.

I move on to the next and give a reply first thing in the morning the next day or before heading to bed.

but, it gets better with time
Engagement is a bit tricky and complicated, especially if you are not a native speaker.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Same for me. And sometimes I reply almost immediately. Sometimes I have to battle with network.

Ultimately, I just have to allocate more time to it, I spend a lot of time on Twitter gathering a lot of information I share on here. Many founders are there, it’s easy to follow on conversations.

I don’t know how we can sort of like wrap Twitter with Leofinance such that while you’re interacting with Twitter, as long as you signed in through Leofinance, you’d be able to mirror your interactions on Twitter on Leofinance which will be visible to everyone on Leofinance whether they have a Twitter account or not, and they can interact back on Leofinance but it won’t appear on Twitter unless they have a Twitter account. And those with only a Twitter account won’t be able to see the followed up conversation on Leofinance except they signed in through Leofinance account.

This can go far in helping to carry the conversation on Twitter on, on Leofinance where it is even monetized and backed by blockchain.

While I want to spend my whole time on Leofinance engaging, yes I’m learning, but I’m also mostly restricting myself to information that maybe late, we know how vital time can be in this space,.... inasmuch as we want to deny it, Twitter really is the defacto public town square(in Elon’s words) for this digital generation in this moment. Most founders are there, the hottest discussions relevant in our tech world goes on there in real time, what we can do is extend the availability of this discussions into Leofinance.

This way anyone can merge their activities on Twitter and Leofinance into one without having to leave the other, also, I guess if people see that it’s possible to do what they normally do on Twitter and ‘Web 3.0’ it without taking them away from Twitter, they will be more welcoming to use it.

I guess this was something ProjectBlank is suppose to achieve.

Twitter is the only centralized media I engage with these days.

A great deal of information is passed there(Twitter) and I'm sure with the launch of projectblank we'll have our own decentralized twitter on leofinance.

I have no idea on how possible it is to integrate twitter and leofinance together apart from the signing up process, but the og's or khal might have more info on that.

The network issue is everywhere, at least in most part of Nigeria, we just have to keep showing up and doing the best we can everyday. i'm thinking of getting a WiFi, hopefully that will help

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Throw a quote or a meme up.

Anything that will show a response and convey the idea that you are not ignoring the person.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's one way to switch things up.

Thanks for the tip

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah. Think of what people do on other social media sites and try to apply come of that here.

Nothing wrong with the appropriate Gif periodically.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Not being a native speaker would make things so much more challenging. That is some wonderful advice and I'll be sure to take it on board.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is a barrier many have to overcome which is a challenge. Over time, we might get more posts in people's native tongue.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Never know. We may have international wings of Leo Finance reporting all over the place

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Without a doubt. I would love to see the site somehow divided to create a way to encourage posts in other languages. Spanish is probably the best one to start with since it so common in many parts of the world.

Provide a place where people can easily find that content.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Spanish will definitely be a good place to start here on leofinance.

I think we have people already blogging in their native language, which is Spanish and German, but English is still going to be the main form of communication, its widely accepted compared to other language. it's also easy to learn, only takes time

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's challenging of course but then, it's not impossible.

The English language is accepted worldwide, hence, the need to keep learning and improving everyday.

Every comments and post helps sharpen one's skill. I have also learned a great deal from reading too

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Unfortunately, there are times when the person commenting doesnt really give one anything to go on. Some comments are just there without much room for reply.

That is why questions are a great conversation starter.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thats also some great advice and I'm probably not always the best at leaving conversations open.

What are some of the topics that attract alot of discussion?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

What are some of the topics that attract alot of discussion?

Commenting. LOL

Depends upon the mood. Right now stablecoins are getting a lot of traction for obvious reasons. Most seem to have an opinion about UST.

For me, it depends upon who I am engaging with. There are some who are a bit more playful while others are not.

Over time we start to see them emerging.

So eventually it isnt really topic specific as individual.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Do Kwons going again with a stable coin. Only this time collateralised. Interesting as he attacked so many people saying how his stable coin was the best because it was algorithic.

Lots of discontent. Changpeng also wants Luna to buy back and burn Luna where Do Kwon is giving up and forking.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Many do understand that engagement is a harder part, hence Should be incentivised the more. You have to first consume the content and then think of what value to add or criticize.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It maybe challenging but not impossible so it's a brilliant idea.

Finally, this could be a great way to bring attention to new authors. Dropping comments in their articles could motivate them. It is helpful it we tag them by name in the article.

And this too, it might be one of the things that keep new ones going knowing that somebody is giving attention to their contents too.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It all helps. Everyone likes attention. If someone writes a worthwhile post, new or not, it merits a comment.

Hell if you read the article already, leave a comment.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes, very true.

Funny though because at times, even after reading an article, I can't come up with a comment so I just leave.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think having more articles hit the 100 comment mark is a pretty good goal but I don't really have the time to check in so much. So I guess I'll just check @leomarkettalk whenever I get the chance and see if I can get in on some of the conversations.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well it is something that we dont really focus upon but it is something that is important.

Now maybe people will watch the number to see if it resonates.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Good morning. I must say I haven't been active on Leo for a while mostly because I couldn't bring myself to understand a lot but the new challenge did drive me out of my shell since it's one thing i like to do. Engage. I may not be great at coming up with financial post though. However, Khal did talk about how easy the Leofinance mobile is really easy to navigate and I agree with him. When it first came out, I used it a lot and it really helped my journey as network service isn't a great thing here for the beta. But after i updated the app, it keeps telling me invalid Hive signer password. I just want to know if it's a general thing or it's just me cos my Peakd works just fine with the password. I am not on Leo discord so i decided to drop in here. 😅... Please forgive my extra long comment

I dont know. Perhaps drop by the Leofinance discord on that. You can open up a ticket on that.

Before that, make sure you have the right Hive signer password. I know I locked myself out. You might have to reset Hive signer with a new password.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I got it sorted. All i had to do was reinstall app. 😁

Since I'm a newbie likes don't matter to me so much at this point. Comments are much more important showing that someone actually reads my posts. And because of that, I'm rooting for everything you suggested and of course doing my part. Cheers!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Welcome to the Leofinance.

Commenting is a great way to encourage the same thing on your posts. Getting involved in this manner helps in many different ways.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks, good to be here!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I doubt I ever had 100 comments on any post of mine, but the idea sounds good.

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

That is the reason for this article. We need to get that mindset into people. Start the push towards creating more articles with more comments.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think you're right, however, to rake in 100 comment, the author themselves has to be conversational as well as the comments themselves. I also think @leomarkettalk can be pushed by the official Leo account, so that it can become a go-to place for great posts and opportunities to discover new authors and comment. Overall, the SEO part is important too. Engagement is getting better, on the bright side.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

LMT is one place I’ve been severely slacking when it comes to engagement.

I think if I want to keep up with the likes of taskmaster and others, I’ll need to add it to my tool belt. LMT is a great way to get a bunch of high quality conversational engagement in!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

LMT is a great way to get a bunch of high quality conversational engagement in!

This is absolutely true, infact, I guess we can push it, not many people know it's a thing here. Plus, timezone can be something else. Hopefully you'll find the time as well.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

People come and go. Yet it is a great place to drop links and charts.

It is truly ProjectBlank before ProjectBlank.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well, that's absolutely true. I can attest to how we started out back in the days. Timezone is a bitch.

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

It goes back to Aug 2020 when Khal and I started to talk about the idea. I thought it would be a few month thing so started @leomarkettalk. Now, we are closing in on two years.

That sucks. LOL

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hahaha well, we're still waiting in on projectblank.

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

LMT is a great place but it's been kind of been on my backburner due to my lack of time. I use to check it every few hours but I barely check it 1-3 times a day lately.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Keep falling behind and pay out that LEO each week and you will have a number of happy lions.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Very true. Staying there for minutes would make you hit 20 comments unknown to you.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I agree. The author has to comment. There are many who do not do that. We have to identify those who are willing to do it on a regular basis.

So it will take some time to make it all work out.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

This is true and this is mainly the reason why I try to make my post as exciting as I can. When the author themselves aims to meet engagement demands on their post, then it'll all turn out well with the number of comments on their post.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Without a doubt. Having articles that people can latch onto is vital. But people being willing to engage is also important.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I guess the two parties have a role to play, it's seemingly vital yo synch it in order to accomplish quality engagement

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

I tend to get back to comments a bit late. It just seems easier for me to focus on feed or replies but maybe I should focus a bit more on replies than feed.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The important thing is you do. Sure it might end up as water under the bridge by that time but at least you help up your end.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yea the SEO part really helps because each comment adds to the value of the article itself. When they expand more on the topic, I think there could be some extra keywords to help the rankings.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well that's also a useful tip, depends on how people are willing to go to actually dlto improve their engagement.

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

Especially if the comments are actually applicable.

With SEO it comes down to making a comment to add something, not to just post a comment.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The creation of Leomarkettalk was epic although, the usecase is evolving on daily basis. It can only get better.

This is the summary of whole post, and this what we all Lions need to work together to encourage them to engage with us like they do with their family and friends.

To start, we need to keep engagement high since newer people are continually coming to the site. Having a bunch of articles with no activity is not to anyone's benefit. Hence, the more we add to posts, the better the experience for all.

I give your an idea, like OCD, LeoFinance should also welcome them so new members can feel acceptance withing community, unlike OCD normally they require an intro post, you can request them to write about LeoFinance, how did you find LF as a new member, a feedback like stuff.

Thanks

We now have an incubation program for Leofinance at @leogrowth. The #newlion tag is where first Leofinance posts are curated.

Engagement is growing in Leofinance. It is worth noticing that we need to bring comments for the reason comments are vital in the first place.
The major incentive for commenting is about you get to know others and grow your followers that way.

Hey @taskmaster4450le, here is a little bit of BEER from @pouchon for you. Enjoy it!

Learn how to earn FREE BEER each day by staking your BEER.

I’m trying to step up my commenting game. I will start by trying to comment at least on 5 different posts + responding (on my posts or to comments on my comments).
Seeing people like you and Khal engaging with the newer / smaller community member really motivates the rest of us to do the same.

The LeoFinance Engagement League is becoming interesting as each day passes. Thanks to Asher for thinking it and staying consistent to it.

The weekly stats are really encouraging. Each week I work hard to surpass my previous stats. It helps me to engage more healthily on Leofinance.
