Oh nice... I thought about this too but still, electricity is expensive in Germany. I did the math and there is no way that it is profitable.

Oh for sure. It's not profitable here unless you are offsetting with solar like I am. Basically with the time it's on the grid, I am basically breaking even, but it's not as much about the profits as it is the fresh, non KYC crypto! And I make more of it every block, lol.

We talked about that before. I still need to buy a little solar system. Non KYC crypto is the best for sure. 😁

Yeah, if you have the space to put it, it's a great way to go. Even if you are just offsetting the cost and using something like an automatic transfer switch to swap from off to on grid when the batteries are low. Or use a grid-tie inverter to go from the solar directly into the wall to offset the power usage.

I can use just the garden with 2 or 3 panels and could go directly into the wall. There are plug and play systems out there but they cost around €400.

Also hence the reason I still spend any time here, lol. It's an extra way to earn some crypto for posting drone, homestead, and 3D printing stuff, lol. But with prices almost to all time lows for Hive, I don't see a huge future here. I say INLEO needs to fork off onto it's own chain for blogging. I bet we could get witnesses and node operators to spin up.

I wonder why they not already did that. Hive is more or less just broken tracks for the Inleo train. Now that $LEO isn't just a Hive token anymore it would make sense.
