Me, I have no idea! It's literally trading at 1 hive a piece as we speak! I actually made 40 hive today, by selling just half of my latest pob earnings.
I was one of the first to shill the token and suggest people to use the #proofofbrain tag in their posts about a month ago, since it had interesting/funny tokenomics. But I never expected it to pump so hard and so fast!
Honestly, I can't think of any legit reason for people to fomo into it that hard as there have been no stupid exciting developments yet, at least not to my knowledge. And this is why I will keep dumping half of my pob rewards and stake the rest for the foreseeable future. Chances are it will eventually dump hard at some point and that's when I will buy a strong position with the profits I am making out of it all this time.
Or maybe it will keep pumping highet and higher.. I will still be happy with that scenario as my stake is approximately 1% of the total circulation!
What about you? Are you fomoing into pob and buy like there's no tomorrow? Staking everything? Dumping everything? Or are you taking a more down to earth approach like me?

I have about 5000 usd at the disposal, I am not sure if I should put part in them in POB or just all in BTC. It might sounds stupid, but I have seen POB doing great about 1-2 weeks ago, it had such a raise.

I don't think I would move any of my Hive into it, but I don't mind making a little bit here and there through posting and curation. I have been staking 100% of those earnings up to this point. The fact that you are holding 1% is pretty impressive. I think after it halves in several years you might be very happy with what you are holding.

It seems to me a very active community with a lot of interaction and that is always good to grow. Why is the token going up? I honestly don't know but why is BTC worth so much more today than a year ago? Well, I don't know either. Nor do I know why many stocks on the stock market with the same ratios and expectations have very different prices, but that's the way it is.
On the other hand, I have to say that I do the same as you, I sell half and stake the other half, although I do this with almost all the tokens.

I mostly consider it a fun experiment and not for profit short term

Lol. I have $274 POB already and all thanks to reading your posts. Just staking everything as that is what I do best. I just don't see any point in selling as make more staking and curating daily. Maybe we will end up with similar values if it tanks at some point. Just grateful for earning another token to be honest. Thanks again for the heads up on this one.

I try to keep the 50/50 split as well between staking and selling, but lately im more on the selling side, because of the juicy price. On the other hand I am also fomoing about having sold too much, I want to get my Stack up to 1000 POB soon.
I actually have an idea: a good name. Aka good branding. It is worth a lot when the name alone sparks interest. A lot of what hive is about is proofing that you have a few working brain cells. I cant imagine the success of Steem if they announced a Proof of Brain Crypto instead of delegated Proof of Stake. A lot of Crypto is about good marketing.

Proof of Brain has a really good community beginning to develop and lots of good content on its trending page. I am not sure if the market can maintain this kind of heat, but I have been staking all of my POB rewards and plan to continue staking for the foreseeable future.
There is a dev-fund that is growing and discussion on what developments need to happen and what their priorities are... There is even a callout for developers to work on the POB front-end. It is a tribe that should be taken more seriously than a lot of others. Does it warrant the growth in token price???
POB-power goes a lot further as the token supply will be so limited. That is why I am staking all that I get and likely why there is so much FOMO (and such small supply of liquid POB).
I have buy orders in, but not at these levels. I'm hoping people cool off on it so I can get more with my peon holdings.
I have some staked (300), but have been selling mostly as they come in, if there is a significant dip, I might buy and stake, but for now I have been converting and getting longer term investments taken care of.
