Do you prefer buying/selling NFTs for a fixed price like on NFT Showroom or to auction them?

Do you prefer to sell/buy NFTs at a fixed price like on @nftshowroom or auction NFTs like on most Ethereum-based platforms?

I think the fixed price system is better, more transparent and more direct than waiting for offers or making offers. Another thing to consider is that even with a fixed price system, you can always adjust the prices and if you tokenize more than one edition, you can also offer each edition at different price points.

So for me the price system on @nftshowroom is superior, what do you think?

I've done both a lot on WAX. I prefer auctions. One thing I find difficult is valuing an NFT. An auction allows for price discovery. In my experience, though, I believe fixed prices are more popular.

Good point about price discovery, with the fixed price system the seller does the price discovery and then the buyer agrees or disagrees with the given price by buying or not buying the NFT. Maybe for very expensive NFTs auctioning is better but for affordable NFTs fixed prices are more convenient.

Ja, find ich auch besser.

Fixed Preis.

I would go for a mix of the two. You put a price on the work but at the same time people can make offers if they wish. That gives more possibilities to the two parties involved, the artist and the potential buyers.

Possible on opensea for instance

Yes, something like OpenSea but without the fess from ETH.

I would like to see both to be honest . Somewhere my inclination is towards auction I guess .

Ich würde auch den Fixpreis besser finden.
