Over the past year, NFT PFP projects like CryptoPunks have turned OpenSea from an obscure crypto art platform to a juggernaut in the space. The NFT market generated over $3.5 billion in revenue in October. One month.
With the success of CryptoPunks everyone and there mother is out there doing something similar. They all are copying the originals in some fashion and only a very small percentage has generated interest and profit for its users.
When everyone was out copying CryptoPunks over the last 6 months, something unique popped up. Punks on Hive.
At first glance this seems like another copy-cat of the CryptoPunks, but it is so much more than that.
First it is built on the Hive Blockchain and is the first project of its kind.
Second it has its own marketplace that integrates with your Hive Wallet.
Third is the community. I've been on Hive for long time... since the start, and it is a positive and loyal group of people.
Fourth and most important... No gas fees. Gas fees are killing the users over at OpenSea and if they can buy and sell NFTs somewhere else, then why not Hive?
Punks on Hive is a project I'm very bullish on and I've picked up a few myself.

It is actually built on Hive-Engine's NFT smart contract.
All buys & sells of punks are recorded on Hive-Engine not Hive
The front-end website does connect to Hive for user Auth and to allow you to use Hive to purchase Punks.
I have some and love them, but just want to be clear of how the tech actually works.
Yes I was trying to explain this to someone earlier today its quite amazing what we have accomplished here and it will only continue to grow in the future.
