I don't post that much on Leofinance but I love to read all the articles presented in the community, especially those about Hive, the Leo token and the dApss associated with this project. Now all or the vast majority of the members of this community are talking about a new product called #ProjectBlank, which will be launched in the next few days and expectations are running high in the Hive community.
From what I have been able to observe and read, #ProjectBlank is about a space where the authors of the community will be able to publish micro posts in the style of Twitter or Tic Toc Toc, considering the fact that these types of social networks are the most popular in the world. The idea is clear: to also monetize small thoughts.
Apparently those of us who own LEO tokens will also be worthy of a proportion of #ProjectBlank tokens, something that many expect to have an impact on the rise of LEO. According to those responsible for Leofinance #ProjectBlank is not a direct dApp of this application, their participation will be as advisors and collaborators of this new space that will be part of the Hive family.
This is what we know so far, but certain aspects inherent to Hive's culture remain to be elucidated, which I think is something to take into account. For example, the main value of Hive is the quality of the publications, and this is something fundamental to all aspects associated with Hive.
Some promoters of the idea of #ProjectBlank express the need to reduce the quality in the ratings of upvotes in this new space, this to encourage mass participation in this new space. Many are of the idea that if you are more lax in the cures the new space will attract more people to the community, there will be a flow of publications that will raise the value of both Hive and the LEO token.
It all sounds great in theory, but in particular I am concerned about the fact that many invoke the decline of quality in favor of quantity. I understand very well that making long publications as in blogs implies a great effort, sometimes without the grace of curators' upvotes and although it is not a very popular format it has generated an important attraction from the monetary and informative point of view.
Regardless of the folosophical position of #ProjectBlank what is certain is that this new project will demonstrate that also short ideas (200 words or 15 seconds long) can be monetized in this new world of cryptocurrencies. On the other hand, the most important thing is that #ProjectBlank will be totally decentralized and free of censorship, so freedom of expression, the most valuable thing that we human beings living in a democracy have, is guaranteed.

Projectblank is going to open the door to a lot of newer things on Leo and Hive.
It will be a real game changer. Exciting times ahead.
