Call me a genius or call me crazy..... But i think ive potentially just blown $2000, in btc, on some art work created by the famous artist Damien Hirst
Five years in the making, The Currency consists of 10,000 works of hand drawn art, complete with a correlated NFT. Each physical piece will resemble a bank note and come with hand-painted art, an original song lyric, a water mark, and Hirst’s signature. Simultaneously unique and part of a larger whole, the individual artworks in turn reflect the decentralized yet connected nature of their mediums: the blockchain and the physical world.
NFT's are all the rage at the moment, and some are going for mega bucks!
Damien Hirst jumped on the bandwagon by creating 10000 individual pieces of art and duplicating them to the blockchain Palm.
His plan is to keep the physical art work securely stored away for exactly 12mths, while the owner if the NFT receives the digital copy. After 12months, thenowner mustndecide to keep ONLY 1 of the art works and the other will be destroyed/deleted permanently.
You still have a few days to get involved with the experiment/art movement, and all it will costnyou is $2000. The 10k pieces of art will be entered into a raffle style draw, and its pot luck to see which lucky investers manage to get their handsnon these crazt, colourful piece of modern art.
