I was watching a Bitboy Crypto Livestream Video the other day and all of a sudden it ended abruptly with the notice that his channel had violated some Policy Terms and Conditions.
They in fact did not violate anything and for whatever reason , something triggered the automatic pulling of the video. This was not the 1st time this has happened to him and many other channels.
He's even gone as far as to make a 2nd Youtube Channel in case his 1st channel gets banned. To me this is a crazy strategy, almost insane. Why would you choose to back up your channel on the same Platform that can at anytime ban you and destroy all of your progress in an instant?
It's very annoying to me to listen to all (not just Bitboy) Crypto Youtubers complain about Censorship while on a Centralized Platform while Preaching about Decentralization and Censorship Resistence. A part of me thinks that these guys LOVE it when they get a strike or get a video taken down. The 1st thing they do is put out a CALL TO ACTION for everyone to TWEET about the Injustice that has laid upon their channel. This in turn gets them attention and ultimately more followers. I see a big contradiction in promoting Cryptocurrency on Centralized Platforms and them being surprised when they are Censored.
So why aren't more of these guys over here on HIVE ? I guess it's too early yet and they are all about the $$$$. From what I have seen so far the potential is here for them to do quite well without having to jump through all of the Hoops, Terms and Conditions of Youtube / Twitter. They should at least be starting to post here and transition over.
I see his good friend Wendyo just started posting here, which is partly the reason I came over. I noticed she had posted an Introduction post.
In one of his last videos, Bitboy mentioned he was going to be covering Decentralized Social Media.
So I'm wondering if he will be branching out to HIVE?
In his Telegram Group one of his Admins mentioned they were very much aware of TheyCallMeDan and have been in communications with him.
I'm not one to gossip or speculate too much but to me this adds up to another Big Crypto Youtuber coming over to HIVE.
A question for the Community:
What is the best way to "recruit" people to come over to HIVE ? Is there one simple video that explains everything in a Nutshell? There's a lot to this ecosystem and I myself am still trying to get acquainted with it. I already know this place is a winner, but how do you make others realize and make the leap ?

In my opinion, one video is not going to explain HIVE. It’s a continuous learning process. There are many ways to learn about HIVE and best way is to get started and learn as you earn and invest

Many people join HIVE because of money and incentives.
Once they understand the whole ecosystem they will earn to invest in HIVE.
