Well, my friends... I guess it's time I start getting serious again about posting here on the Hive Block-chain...?!?!?!? My ears have been itchy and tingling, which my mother always told me, "That means someone is talking about you."
My intuition tells me that, not only have people been talking about me... they have been screaming profanities, laced with despair and despondency all around the globe - in my direction...!!!
All this commotion due to my lack of reporting upon the daily, exceedingly interesting life I lead here in the northeastern region of the good ole U.S. of A.
Ya know...??? Since I'm one of those "Privileged white people", I do feel utterly overwhelmed with guilt at times, which results in self-imposed isolation and silence, in an effort to repent.
I often would indulge in self-flagellation as well, until I began to actually enjoy the whippings, which made me feel more shame about rewarding myself over the guilt I was supposed to feel.
So...I STOPPED beating myself in order to feel badly once again... Besides, it was beginning to become more difficult finding heavy whipping cream at the market, due to this Clovid thing going on.
Does that make sense to you? Can you understand the cataclysmic effect all this failure at self-abasement has upon my grieving soul? It's almost overwhelming...!!!

Doing well @angryman, thanks for asking. Here in the South it's business as usual. I keep hearing from my Ca friends and it keeps getting worse, my response remains: gyms, salons, restaurants, etc. everything, it's all wide open here--business as usual.

We do not have a shortage of whipping cream which is good, can't make a good mousse with out that. I may actually have to order some Ordinary everyday yeast, the non quick rise stuff, on line as we do not have any of that in our stores.
The other thing is I think the olive oil kings got pretty ticked off as their cooking oils just sit and sit on the shelf while all the good oils get sold out, like the walnut oil and the avocado oil. Just as i got used to the superb flavor and heat resistance of those two they go away. I may have to use some olive oil in my next soup and that will be a disaster the taste and the flavor will be all off.
Other than that, I will continue to do for my family and let the governments of the world fend for themselves.
Sort of strange that you should mention the sudden shortage of walnut and avocado oil on the shelves of stores... I've noticed the same thing here?!?!?!?
There was a sudden abundance of less common oils where I usually shop and the few they did have remained on the shelves much longer than the cheaper stuff (That MOST people buy)… Now, the alternatives disappear quickly.
Will mysteries never cease...?!?!?!?
OH... I almost forgot... As of a couple of days ago, the food market near me, has so much stock shipped in, that they have a lot of it still on pallets sitting in the isles for lack of shelving space!!! VERY STRANGE...
I guess there are so many people watching the news in Pennsylvania and that is why we have a shortage of the Amish Country white popcorn. One thing covid reacquainted me with was pop corn for the evening movie snack, and after going through all the normal brands jiffy pop, orville redenbacher, and jolly time, we decided that the small white Amish Country popcorn was the best tasting, and of course it has been out of stock for awhile.
The true Amish, still grow their own seed corn, avoiding the Lab created variety. It's a lot more sweet and tender.
That is what we found with the white corn variety popcorn, much more tender.
