My little car collection

Crypto Cars

So you're here on Hive meaning that you know a thing or two about Cryptocurrency and if you know a thing or two about Cryptocurrency then you’ll almost certainly have heard people talking about Lambos or Lamborginis and there is no doubt about it, there are plenty of examples in the community. Those who saw the potential of Cryptocurrencies early on, those who started mining Bitcoin in the early days, people who saw Ethereum as a worthwhile investment and me I spotted Hive and new what it would become. Here are a couple of my lambos that I showed off to the public this weekend at my annual car show.

It all started for me over sixty years ago, when I took an interest in Cryptocurrencies, and now at the age of 90, I have my own collection of cars purchased because of those early investments in Hive and Leo finance.

You see I, like another few thousand lucky souls discovered this place in the early early days before the masses arrived, you might not believe me but I remember a time when one Hive was less than a dollar.

Well either that or they are supercars that landed in Salthill yesterday for the annual Canonball fundraiser. These classic motors drive around Ireland with hundreds of other supercar owners and motoring enthusiasts and collect money for charity as they make their rounds which is a fantastic idea. Here's what they say about themselves on their website. Who knows, a few of us might join them someday if Hive or other Cryptocurrency investments we have properly take off.

Although in fairness I am 90 years of age now, so like Dougal Maguire of Father Ted fame, I've been known to mix up dreams and reality from time to time, so maybe they are mine!

What they say about Cannonball

"Cannonball is the most unique super car fraternity in the world and it all began in Ireland … of the hundred thousand welcomes!

The camaraderie and friendships forged amongst the drivers and participants is for life. Some have participated for 10 years, some dip in and out, some make it the experience of a lifetime but newcomers are always welcome.

Think luxury, unforgettable experiences, breath-taking drives, incredible cars and, of course, that famous welcome and those random hilariously funny moments that are … just the way we roll on Cannonball!

From the majestic castles on the Grand Highlands Tour to the thrillingly diverse European Trip and the all new Retro Cannonball in Ireland to the widely anticipated main event next September in Ireland, Cannonball just gets better … and better … and better!

Cannonball is a registered company specialising in event management, established for 10 years and has so far raised over €1 million euros for various charities.

There are no strangers here, only friends that have not yet met!

190 supercars and novelty cars, 3 action packed days of adrenaline fuelled adventure, unimaginable days and unforgettable nights, Ireland’s glitterati and celebrities out in force, a motoring fraternity like no other, free family festivals, celebrities, over 1000km of Irish open roads, over €1,000,000 raised for Irish children’s charities.

Cannonball is a unique three-day road trip around Ireland, taking a different route each year. It is the largest organised road-trip in Europe, now in its eleventh year, and millions of excited fans have witnessed the crazy Cannonball convoy of cars pass through their town, city or bend in the road with over 190 gleaming supercars, wacky fun cars and monster wheels every year. For the 450 Cannonballers that take part in the event, the experience is unforgettable. The route is planned to showcase the very best that Ireland has to offer and only top-quality hotels and venues are chosen.

Imagine a three-day party devoted to cool cars – driving cars, looking at cars, talking about cars – while touring through some of Ireland’s most beautiful landscapes and most lively towns and cities. Imagine feeling like a mega star as you drive your special car in the Cannonball convoy through towns and villages with thousands of spectators cheering, clapping, taking photos and enjoying in this incredible motorized masquerade"

More Cars

Ok, let's get back to "my" cars. Here's another few that I had on display in Galway yesterday. You'll see a great mix of quality motors including Porche, Ferrari, McClaren, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Camero, Mustang and much much more.

Our boys had a brilliant time "my" drivers even let the kids jump in the drivers seat for a photo opportunity, which was a lovely touch. Our eldest in particular was living his best ever life, as he really loves cars and can tell what brand and model they are at a glance from the side or the back, it's quite impressive actually!

Even more Cars

You didn't think that was it did you, no no no, we still have a few left up our sleeves. Sure we haven't even gotten as far "my" Camero, Maserati or Bentley yet my friends, so let's get to it. Let me show you the rest of "my" car collection!

🤣 I love it!!

It will be interesting to see in say ten years what happens to the whole eco system and what value Hive and all the layer 2 tokens hold.

Still posting like a good-un, even at the age of 90 - well done mate !
